Hello everyone! I’m Taras a professional panflute player. I started playing the panflute when I was 5 years old. Ever since then I spent every day improving my skills and perfecting my craft. Throughout my career I had won numerous prices and was able to perform throughout Europe. I’m currently studying at the Conservatory van Amsterdam. I’m teaching private lessons as well as giving masterclasses at festivals. If you are interested in learning to play the panflute or improve your playing skills, I would love to help you along the way. With my years of experience and my wide ranging love of music from folk music to classical to contemporary I’m willing to broaden your musical horizon and bring you a wide range of technique to help you becoming the musician you want to be! I teach from beginners to advanced players. I will help you better understand the instrument and music in general as well as give you an understanding of music theory. My lessons will be tailored to your needs and aspirations for you to see the results you want.

My lessons are focussed on finding the joy in music- a goal that I have myself which I love to pass on to my students I welcome students of all ages and abilities. Whatever your aim, we can work together to tailor a unique method that suits you and allows you to feel confident with the instrument. I have over a decade of experience teaching in a variety of settings so I have a method to suit everyone, whether you want to play your very first note or are ready to step on stage for a concerto. I cover all aspects of flute playing including note reading, sound production, posture, technique as well as musicality and expression. I am based in Amsterdam and am happy to travel to your home in the nearby area. Alternatively, you can travel to the centre of Amsterdam where I teach.

Private lessons for beginners to advanced level of flute playing. All ages are welcome. I am a professionally trained teacher and flutist for almost two decades. My lessons are given in English, Spanish and (soon) Dutch. My teaching method is variable depending on the students' needs, but the goal is shared: to make a great musician and qualified flutist out of the pupil. I work on both technical and musical aspects from a healthy and enjoyable perspective. Particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones! I pay special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of my students. I also give some additional tools applicable to the flute playing which includes: The Inner Game of Music, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique and Body & Mind. All the basic theory is taught too.

Gita is a professional flutist and teacher, originally from Canary Islands, Spain. She graduated from her bachelor’s degree at Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the highest grade of her class. She studied with professors Kersten McCall, Vincent Cortvrint and Mariya Setmotjuk, flutists from Het Concertgebouworkest. As a pedagogue, Gita is often described as enthusiastic and energetic. Her genuine motivation to teach makes her a very fun tutor, rejoicing with each of her student’s achievements and improvements. She is experienced with both adults and children, beginners, and advanced musicians. Her teaching method varies and adjusts to the students' needs and wishes. She pays special attention to creating a personalized education and experience for every one of her learners. Gita works on both technical and musical aspects in a (very) conscious way, making particular emphasis on having fun with the little ones! The lessons are generally given at Oosterdokskade. Neža (1996) is a professional flutist and student composer with a master's diploma in flute performance. She is an active performer and a member of .abeceda [new music ensemble]. Private lessons on the flute or piccolo instruments are given to anyone who wants to study. The content of the course depends on students' specific wishes and goals. By November 2023, there will also be the music ensemble that all of the students will be able to take part in.

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons. So for beginners and intermediate students must follow a compotent tutor to learn about the way of classic form.

I have played the flute for more than 20 years, and have been teaching since 2011. I offer flute lessons to children aged 8 and up, and adults at all levels from beginners to post Grade 8. I also teach recorder to younger beginners- I find this is a good stepping stone for younger children as it's more comfortable for smaller beginners to hold, and easier to make a sound on. Learn to pass exams or just for fun- many of my students achieve highly in ABRSM and Trinity grades, but some prefer not to take exams and this is fine too. Whatever your level, one to one tuition means that I can tailor my teaching to your needs as a flute player, and my teaching takes into account the reasons you learn an instrument, encompassing a wide variety of repertoire. I also teach music theory- lots of students come to me to help prepare for Grade 5 theory, and I also teach higher theory grades.
