Trusted teacher: in Catalan, Español, Français, Deutsch or English! ESP: Ofrezco piano classes, introduction to music and solfeo. Studied the piano and other instruments for 15 years at the UGDA and at the Conservatorio de Musica de la Ciudad de Luxemburgo. Después de muchos años de solfeo obtuve el certificado de „Première Mention“ del Conservatorio. Durante un tiempo di clases particulares a domicilio a niñxs y tengo muchos años como monitora de scouts. I am interested in designing the creative manpower class and adapting it to the needs of the almunx. De tal manera que sale el alumno con mas animo, alegria de poder hacer musica y un corazon sonriendo. Hablemos primero de vuestras expectativas con el curso y sobre lo que puedo to offer. Así, puedo adaptar la estructura y el content del curso al vuetros objetivos y los deseos vuetros/de vuetros hijxs. Hasta pronto! Aurélie ENG: I offer Piano lessons, note reading and harmonic understanding. Living in Barcelona, I am preparing to enroll in high schools for singing studies in Jazz. I still have time and the desire to get back to giving private lessons and sharing my knowledge and knowledge of music. I learned the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville de Luxembourg. After many years of music theory and piano lessons I obtained the first mention. During the last years I have taught the piano a little privately at home and during my adolescence I had the experience of working with children aged 7 to 12 as a scout instructor. First, we can talk about your expectations of the course and discuss what I can bring. So I will be able to adapt the structure and content of the course to meet your expectations / those of your child. See you soon! Aurelie

Trusted teacher: I like to plan the class ahead of time, preparing what the student wants to study or what I think is convenient to improve for their guitar development. In the class it will also be possible to work on the classical guitar repertoire, read sheet music and others that are deemed necessary to complement the knowledge of the student. On the other hand, in relation to other specific issues of music, I also propose to work on the following topics: Harmony: • Circle of Fifths • Link of chords, treatment of dissonances, type of cadences. • Major Mode • Minor mode (use of forced movement notes) • Interdominants/secondary dominants/first circle of fifths chords. • Chords belonging to the region of the minor subdominant. • Third-party relationships. • Augmented sixth chords (German, Italian and French) and their relationship with the tritonal substitute. • Tensions in the different chords. • Use of disabled people. • Greek modes (major scale, harmonic minor, melodic, other scales). • Modal exchange. • Poly chords. • Modality (pedal point, super structures) (according to Miller). Counterpoint: • Resolution of different dissonances. • Counterpoint for 2 and more voices. • Avoid parallels. • Ornamental notes (delay, anticipation, change note, etc.) • Invertible/changed counterpoint. • Canyon. Guitar arrangements: Added to the elements that are worked both in harmony and in counterpoint. • Chord melody (analysis of jazz standards) • Phrasing (articulations and fingering as fundamental elements). • Chord Inversions/Voicings/Drops. • Use of textures and timbres of the guitar. • Conducting voices on the instrument. • Choice of tonalities for the arrangement. • Analysis of arrangements and transcriptions (Lobet, Dyens, Bellinati, among others). • Management of Sibelius for editing and layout of scores and tablatures.

Trusted teacher: I'm a bass player and composer, a graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow (UK). I've got over fifteen years of experience in teaching music and I offer one-to-one lessons in: • Composing • Arranging • Electric Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Double Bass (Jazz and other modern music - No Classical) • Music Theory • Jazz Harmony • Notation with Sibelius software • Ensemble and Musicianship Although my method is tailored to each student's needs, I structure it as follows: • Establish a connection with the pupil by understanding their needs and musical objectives. • Design a path tailored to the pupil's goals that uses and develops any pre-existing knowledge and skills. • Guide the student in comprehending the theory behind the basic elements of music, such as scales and arpeggios. • Introduction to the notions of tonality, harmony and harmonic analysis. • Development of the notions of melody, form and structure. • Guide the pupil in understanding the application of different techniques of approaching the composing process, in order to establish a personal method. • Understanding the specific musical language of different genres such as Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Pop y Folk through listening and transcriptions. • Analysis of scores and arrangements of other composers. • Practical composing exercises based upon the studied techniques. Gonzalo is everything I look for in a teacher. He brings tons of enthusiasm for every lesson — he really listens to my goals and brings material to support and guide me to achieve them. He has a great flexibility in the way he teaches, so he can adapt to a wide range of learning styles. Gonzalo is also a fantastic player (as can be seen from his YouTube channel). But most of all, our lessons are great fun and I genuinely look forward to them each week. Book him for a lesson — it will be the best decision you make all year.

Ismael López
Ismael is an amazing teacher. He is very encouraging, supportive and quick to adjust to the needs of his students, while still being very attentive to proper technique, form, posture, musicality, etc. He is able to balance being friendly and being professional. Ismael is always punctual and regularly checks up on you during the week to send you reminders, sheet music, etc. I strongly recommend him as a viola teacher.

Matías is a knowledgeable teacher who is patient with students. We appreciate that he stresses technique and encourages his students to bring the music to life by command of the instrument. We're so glad that we're taking lessons with him. Thank you!
