My previous tutors include Richard Ayres, Wim Henderickx, Richard Causton, Edwin Roxburgh, Ed Bennett, Joe Cutler, and Howard Skempton. I have also taken master classes from Rebecca Saunders, Mario Garuti, Anna Korsun, and Colin Matthews. I was the winner of the Orchestre Nouvelle Generation Composers Competition 2016/17, and the Birmingham Conservatoire Orchestral Composition Prize 2015. Distinguished ensembles and performers who have performed my works include the DoelenKwartet, HERMESensemble, Syzygy Quartet, Ossian Ensemble, Noszferatu, Decibel, David Le Page, Patrick Johnson, Sara Minelli, Rowland Sutherland, and Colin Alexander. My compositions have been featured at world-famous festivals including the String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam and TROMP Percussion Festival and at venues such as Kings Place and Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, as well as various venues throughout Europe, North America, and South Africa. In addition to classical composition, I also write advert soundtracks on a regular basis for clients such as GHD, Lanvin, Japanese Vogue, Mariana Jungman (London Fashion Week), Cent Magazine, and Face Lace. I have completed a number of scores for award-winning short films 'Wanted' by Graeme Montgomery, and 'Genesis' by Beatrix Haxby. I am also a bassoonist, having studied with Adam Mackenzie (New London Chamber Ensemble) and John Orford (London Sinfonietta). I was a member of Essex Youth Orchestra for four years, and have written a new repertoire for the instrument including a number of Concert Studies and also a Bassoon Quartet. Trusted teacher: A composition class that is tailored to your musical needs! This class main purpose is to help you find your own musical language and voice. Either you are a complete beginner in music or a highly skilled musician, this class is perfect for you, because it is being adjusted for you, by you. The most important question that you will be asked in this class is ''Why?''. In this class you will learn to have the biggest level of control that you can have over your musical product, sound and decisions, so that you are always sure that your musical vision is being well translated and transmitted. In this class we are going to work with: 1) Compositional techniques --- Every lesson we are going to discuss about how do you think your piece should be, and about what does your piece need. For that you will need your intuition but also your ''tools'', and those are your compositional techniques. We are going to see them in other pieces and learn how to use them through your own musical vision. 2) Instrumentation --- To write acoutic music you need your ''arsenal'' and those are the instruments that you might use. In this class we will learn the categories, material, sound, structure and combinations of every instrument. We will learn together how each instrument works and how to notate it on paper, so that you are never limited by the nature of the instrument, but instead you are going to be able to bring out 100% of your music. 3) Arranging --- To make sure that you keep your instrumentation skills, we need to put them to use, not only in your music, but also in an arrangement. Together we are going to work on changing the instrumentation in piece and making arrangements of them so that you have a better nderstanding on how the instrumentation of a piece affects directly the compositional proscess and purpose of a piece of music, but also what are the differences between the sound of each instrument while combining them. Also, this will help you make decisions about the result of the arrangement, do you want it to be true to the original, or not? If not, why, and how do you do that? 4) Music History --- Together we will listen to music and learn some basic music history so that you have a better understanding of the different styles, structures and aspects of music, from the Byzantium and Middle ages music, all the way to the music of today. 5) Improvisation --- If you are also an instrumental player, will work also with improvisation. With improvisation you can strengthen your compositional skills, by understanding your intuition, developing your ear, understanding your taste and learning to work with few material, but the most important thing is to learn how to listen and play music with others, because by learning that, you also learn how to communicate and listen all these musical ideas that you have within you before writting (playing) them, controling them and understanding what is needed and what is not in your music. 6) Film scoring --- If you are interested, in this lesson we will also learn how to adapt music to screen. We will learn how to spot the tempo, feeling and texture of a scene but also how to enhance the message of a movie/game/scene/theatre play/documentary with our music. Furthermore will will learn how to use software for midi composition, and VST instruments 7) Electroacoustic composition and sound design --- If you are also interested in electroacoustic music, in this lesson we will learn how to work with sound editting, mixing, design and engineering. We will listen and learn a lot of electroacoustic compositional tecniques to help you explore, understand and work with a complete different musical world. Our goal is to grow your musical perception and horizon. 8) Music notation and software --- For us composers to write our music sometimes we need to use some programs that help us. In the lesson we will learn how to use programs like that, like Musescore, Sibelius, Reaper etc.

Dear All! I would like to offer piano classes on this platform since I have a sincere passion for music pedagogy and for passing on the love for the arts as a beneficial addition to the individual student's life as well as their surroundings. After already 13 years of immersion in theoretical (literature about the psychology of learning, improvisation, keyboard harmony, composition ect.) and practical experience in the field of performing/teaching music as well as foreign languages (Latin, French, German) I would really love to continue passing on my so far acquired knowledge next to continuing my own professional education in piano performance & composition. Sadly I had to take a break from teaching due to unfortunate personal events and the consequences of the pandemic but am working hard now to reestablish myself as a performer and pedagogue with an own homestudio. Hence here is your chance to try a new hobby/ learn a new skill without obligation or eventual losses, only wins! :D Since I am building a new piano/recording/music production studio and waiting for the renewal/ issuing of several official documents I can legally only work for now! So you can basically take advantage of this unique opportunity and learn about piano technique, music theory ect. After that I shall go back to charging per session and teaching in my homestudio and/or an institution. Right now I have only a Yamaha P45 electronic keyboard, which works very well but obviously not the same as a grand, haha. Nontheless, I will do my best to communicate as much value in music education as possible because as mentioned, I'm very passionate and dedicated to my profession. Now the only request I'd like to make is that you give permission to record our online classes and post them on my Social Media as examples of my teaching methods. Since 13 years I have been working on a more modern, open minded approach to music teaching that incorporates current research results on psychology, neurology as well as various imrpovisatory styles and hence I would love to have some updated video evidence/ feedback of my method. Furthermore I plan on writing a book and creating a tutorials that incorporate my mentioned combined methologies, so your feedback and support would be absolutely priceless to make eventual adjustements. I sincerely hope to find nice students who are as enthusiastic as me about joining this socio-pedagogical journey! :D A lot to learn not much to loose as I said, feel free to write to me for more information, hope to see/ hear you soon! :)

Gonzalo
Gonzalo is everything I look for in a teacher. He brings tons of enthusiasm for every lesson — he really listens to my goals and brings material to support and guide me to achieve them. He has a great flexibility in the way he teaches, so he can adapt to a wide range of learning styles. Gonzalo is also a fantastic player (as can be seen from his YouTube channel). But most of all, our lessons are great fun and I genuinely look forward to them each week. Book him for a lesson — it will be the best decision you make all year.

Riza
This was my first time taking music production lessons, and Riza goes through the basic fundamentals of the software and music-making process. He adapts to your level and the difficulties you encounter. He gives you feedback on what to adjust and correct, as well as giving examples. I would definitely recommend him for anyone wanting to try electronic music-making.

Marcos
Marcos is very knowledgeable and conscientious. He took the extra time to look into my work before our first meeting, was able to assess my work, my abilities, and my shortcomings, and was quick to identify my needs and consider solutions, as well as answering my many questions as they came up. He's an ace.
