Arnaud - Maceda25€
Trusted teacher: I'm a professional jazz saxophonist. I attended the Lille conservatory to study classical saxophone. After graduation in 2005, I joined the jazz class of the conservatory and started studying the jazz tradition. During those years, I also worked on Afro-Cuban music with percussionist Fred «El Pulpo» Savinien and vibraphonist, arranger and conductor Laurent Erdös. I then took private lessons in Paris with Pierrick Pedron before moving to New York. Once there I met jazz legend and saxophone master Bob Mover with whom I studied then for several years. I also followed the teachings of Steve Houben and Fabrice Alleman in Brussel for some time. I also worked in blues, afro-cuban, soul and hip hop bands. I've been teaching jazz for more than 15 years. I live now in Spain and play mainly with jazz, Afro-Cuban and blues bands from the national scene. My classes focus on the jazz tradition and the blues. I teach various aspects of jazz improvisation. The aim of the classes is to enable the student to develop a personal sound and to progressively improve his rhythmic, harmonic and melodic knowledge.

Trusted teacher: Graduated from the Popular Music Faculty with Orientation in Jazz Singing (Argentina). We will work on vocal technique in depth, covering different methods and adapting them to your personal needs. Each person is different and my job will be to discover what your obstacles are when singing, and how I can help you overcome them. My training is academic, so we will exercise the fundamental concepts of classical technique, but we will combine it with the elements of popular music. I specialize in Jazz music, so if you are interested in this style I have a lot of material to share with you and give you my approach on how to approach it. We will work on improvisation as part of this style and as a way to learn to let go of your voice, without fear of detuning or error. Singing is playing, and my ultimate goal is that you can enjoy while you are singing. Apart from Jazz I work with many styles, you can bring me the song you want to interpret, even your own music, if you have. I have been giving private lessons for six years now and I have worked with all kinds of students, many of them came to my classes with fear and lack of confidence, but they all left happy, with good technique and interpreting the music they liked the most. Of course, singing is not the easiest thing in the world, like any other discipline it takes time and dedication. But I promise you that if you work with me weekly and do some daily exercises at home, the results will start to show very quickly. Please do not hesitate to contact me, I am at your disposal. All the best, Mariana.

Fran - Jaén14€
Graduated in Higher Education in the specialty of clarinet and Master in Orchestral Interpretation at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. I teach private clarinet classes mainly, as well as music theory, encompassing subjects such as music theory, harmony and analysis. I specialize in classical music, but my musical concerns have always led me to investigate jazz, which is why I also offer classes related to this language. I adapt to the needs of the student at all times. My experience as a clarinet teacher has taught me that the teacher's role should always be that of a guide, regardless of the age of the student. The educational system today is based on covering the greatest number of subjects in the shortest possible time, in a way that can become tedious and unexciting. Without leaving aside the technical part, since it is essential at all times, my system is based on feeding the student's musical concerns in parallel. Creating fun and motivating moments with the clarinet is the key to healthier and more natural learning.

I help the student to find his own voice. His own identity when playing, composing and arranging. A personal sound, both in timbre, articulation, improvisation, musicality ... and his own way of composing and arranging. I like that my students enter class and leave it happy and motivated. I consider discipline, closeness and trust essential. I follow the progression of each student in detail, providing adapted material. I let the student choose his path to follow, the style of music he wants to learn, be it jazz, blues, pop, reggae, ska, funk, classical, brass band... and I provide indications getting the most out of it and performance.
