You can use Illustrator to do a layout for a book, create a web page, and the list goes on. I have been using Illustrator among other Adobe software for the last 15 years of my designer career and I teach them all at the University where I work since 2018.

Trusted teacher: Hello! I'm Jorge and I'm an illustrator born and raised in Tenerife, Canary Islands. My goal is for the student to improve and work towards their desired achievements -- whether it's just to get better at drawing, work towards making a masterpiece, or putting together a portfolio to get into their desired art school. I also have notions of graphic and web design... even murals! In the drawing, I'd work primarily on pencils and pens. Otherwise, the medium of choice could be digital (Photoshop / Illustrator). I've been drawing since I was a child, and I'm studying for a Bachelor's in Fine Arts at AP university. I've also worked as a creative in an Advertisement studio for 2 years and now freelance as an artist for clients.
