Trusted teacher: Drummer and percussionist for 20 years, graduated from the Brussels and Mons Conservatories, I teach drums, percussion and music theory. My course is based first and foremost on you. Whether on drums, marimba, percussion or music theory, I am attentive to your expectations and develop with you a program adapted to your abilities, your difficulties as well as your objectives. It is aimed at everyone, children and adults, complete beginners and more experienced musicians looking for advice, a method or outside advice. I attach crucial importance to autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening, the latter being the pillar of my method. We progress gradually, paying attention to technique as well as position, musicality and ear. I teach: -drums in many styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, linear, world music, Latin music, songs on demand) and in its many forms (Moeller technique, speed, application of the rudiments, syncopation, breaks , solos, independence, musicality, double pedal, etc.); -percussion (marimba and 4-stick vibraphone, xylophone, timpani, cajón, small percussion), in contemporary but also more classic styles (classical music, baroque, etc.); -music theory, which can be integrated into the course if necessary, but also be the subject of a course in its own right for students who want support for their courses at the academy or at the Conservatory; -techniques for reading scores, as well as sight reading; - absolute pitch and relative pitch (experimental)

Trusted teacher: Experienced Drum Tutor and Instructor I was born in Vancouver, grew up in Germany and later moved to London. I started playing the drums at the age of 9, and after my first band experiences, I was recruited by various artists to play shows throughout Germany. I study drums at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and work as a session drummer for touring and recording artists internationally. My online lessons are designed to teach you a specific skillset, step by step with guidance and accountability, classically structured for beginners and advanced players. Whether you want to improve your speed, fills, grooves, independence or technique, my live sessions are a great place to start. Step by step you will receive a wide-ranging program that introduces you to various styles and also teaches you theoretical approaches to playing the drums. Taking a combined approach of applied sheet music and programming drumlines, you will be able to play and meet your own standards or those of your band - whether it’s for practising, for live gigs or for the studio. Playing the drums is pure action and loads of fun. You’re the one who gets to hold the steering wheel in a band. Rock, Metal, Punk, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Latin - it doesn’t matter. After all, the drums can handle any style and I’ll show you how it’s done. You will be excited, inspired and engaged with music. Lessons for drummers with little to no experience. Keys: - Coordination - Rudiments and technique - Reading - Hand and foot speed - Reading - Fills - Grooves - Independence - Performance So please, get in touch.

Trusted teacher: Je donne cours en français - Description disponible en Français Do lezione in Italiano - Descrizione disponibile in Italiano ......................................................................................................................................................... The course method, inspired by the Agostini school (French method used in French and Belgian academies and conservatories) is divided between technique and drums. At the rate of one session each we will focus once on technique and movements outside the drums (on pads) and the other time on the drums and the application of technique and movements. -> The technique lessons and the movements will be those of the so-called 'Moeller technique' that I learned through his direct lineage of student. -> The drum lessons are greatly inspired by the pedagogy of the M.A.I. (Music Academy International - Nancy (fr)) and in particular that of Richard-Paul Morellini, renowned instructor. The courses are complete, in-depth but above all specifically thought of to be progressive. They are suitable for children from 7 years old as well as adults of all ages. => Particular attention is paid to the movements and their correct application, to the total independence of the limbs and finally to an understanding of the rhythm and its theory. My main goal is to give the student complete control behind the drums and skills to be able to self-learn any piece in any musical style. 1 hour of weekly lessons are never enough, they should only be used to fuel the passion that will make you play at home more and more. On demand or for advancs students: - I am very passionate about the study of South American rhythms. Due to their complexity, apart from the samba and Baïon ostinatos, they are not included in the program before the advanced level. They can be at the request of the student. - I am also specialized in metal (musical style) and double pedal. The latter is not included in the program unless requested by the student. The double pedal courses are based on the methodology of Virgil Donati. Technique: * Moeller technique (the 'whipping motion' - the Free stroke -Full/Half/Low stroke - accepting the rebound - its application etc.) * Snare rudiments and their applications through reading systems * Readings of scores and exercises for the snare drum * Speed drills * Military marches * Control of the different subdivisions (quarter notes - eighth notes - triplets - sixteenth notes - quintuplets - sextuplets - triple eighth notes - nonolets etc.) * Displacement of accents and polyrhythms * On request, double pedal technique (application of the Moeller to the double pedal as well as everything listed above but with the feet) Drums: * Bass drum reading and independance * Snare drum reading and independance * Applications of ghost notes * The 16 sixteenth-notes ostinatos * Jazz readings and independence * Binary and ternary readings * Coordination and movements of both feet * Dynamics on the instrument * Creation of fills and original drum grooves * On request, application of the double pedal * On request or for advanced students, readings and independence of South American rhythms (study and independence of the clave/Cascara/Mozambique etc.)
