Course I: Vocal lessons The vocal lessons are designed on the student’s needs, meaning that during the lessons we will work on whatever is there to improve in order to let you get the most from your singing voice! During the lessons we will learn exercises to warm up and cool down the voice (so a pre- and a post- workout); we will work on vocal technique, doing specific exercises based on specific needs; we will work on the repertoire, choosing appropriate songs according to your taste and to what suits your voice the best. But, most of all, we are going to have FUN while learning and improving! For the first lesson it would be ideal to bring one song that you know well and that you like to sing and preferably you sang already. You don’t have any song yet? no problem at all, we will start with nice exercises and we can choose together a song to work on! Course II: Guitar lessons Have you ever wanted to improve your guitar skills with the goal of accompanying your voice while singing? During this lessons we can work together to find the best way to accompany yourself, using the guitar as a support for your beautiful voice! You will learn nice voicings, left and right hand technique and how to groove with nice rhythmical patterns.

We can discover different aspects of the guitar by creating personal and individual exercises in class. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.
