I am a professional violinist in modern violin. At the moment I am doing a specialization in baroque violin and early music. I recently relocated to Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students who are interested in learning more about the violin. A bit about myself - I began playing the violin at age 9. I am a classically trained violinist and have performed with orchestras, chamber groups, rock bands, and jazz groups. I have performed in venues including Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House. Though I never pursued violin performance as a university major, I continue to maintain my skill, teach, and perform regularly. I start playing violin when I was 5 years-old, and since then I never stoped. I thank my first teachers for passing me the entusiasm, passion and love for playing violin when I was a child. So... I would love to pass the same feeling to my students, to have fun while playing violin and learning new music! I adapt to the needs of every student, and from the first lesson together we define what are our goals and how we can reach them. If possible I would also like to do group lessons (with all the students), because I find it really important to do music together and share experiences.
