Vendula is an absolutely wonderful teacher. She understands perfectly the twists and turns and obstacles that one crosses as an apprentice in French, having long ago traversed that route herself. Add to that her kindness, her patience, her formidable intelligence and sincere desire that her student attain his or her objective, and you can't go wrong.

I had an excellent first class with Matt and look forward to more. En français, je dirais que "son parcours n'est pas comme les autres, et tant mieux." By which I mean that his education and experiences in life have given him a depth of understanding and ability to communicate far beyond any of the several French professors that I've had previously, each of whom had followed the traditional formation of a teacher, and were perhaps more limited than helped by that very formation.
