My name is Ava and currently I‘m doing my Master in Music Performance - Concert in Zürcher Hochschule der Künste with Professor Konstantin Scherbakov. I have done my Bachelor in Music (Piano) and a Bachelor in Languages and International Relations in Oporto - Portugal. From September 2023 I will start my Master in Musikpädagogik in ZHdK.

I love music and relationships with people more than anything else and I have developed great communication skills, empathy, and professionalism over many years of teaching. My lessons are for children from 5 years and adults I'm a Certificated piano teacher and Musictherapist, with Master of Arts in Music pedagogy.

Playing the piano is so much fun 🙂 My main goal is to teach you how to express oneself through music. * The level will be adapted to each student * With beginners, we will get to know the instrument and playfully start with the basics * For advanced students, the focus will be on using the correct technique (hand relaxation, fingering...) to achieve the desired sound * Together we will explore the sound of the piano, its colours and different effects * Learn the basics or deepen your knowledge of harmony * And most importantly, you will learn whatever you want, from Bach to pop songs LANGUAGES: German/English/Slovenian/Hungarian/Croatian) Want to discover more? Would you like to learn viola, violin or piano? I am happy to support you with creativity and patience in the learning process. The most important thing for me is that the focus is on enjoying making music and developing at your own pace. In the summer of 2022, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music at the Musik-Akademie Basel, am currently doing an internship at a special education school in Winterthur and play the viola in orchestra projects, a chamber music duo and the violin in a band. I give piano lessons for students of all ages, for both classical and pop music. I've been teaching piano for over 10 years. My goal is to make the lessons more fun and less stressful, more focused on the musical part, and find the most efficient way to solve technical problems.
