Learning how to play piano with me not just about a skill you are going to master with me. It is about passion, love and discovering your new talents from a completely different perspective. It is about discovering your inner star and then being able to reveal it to others - it is why I regularly organize concerts for students at the best concert locations in Switzerland. Your level of skills does not matter - I have tailored programs for beginners as well as for intermediate level. I also help young pianists to get ready for exams to music universities and getting scholarships.

I have been playing the piano for 12 years and started teaching beginners (mostly younger children) 4 years ago. My goal is to find more young and excited students to pass the gift of music onto. Learning and attempting to master an instrument is an amazing privilege and I want to share it with more students. My lessons are enjoyable and educational involving both bookwork and some improvisational fun!

My name is Ava and currently I‘m doing my Master in Music Performance - Concert in Zürcher Hochschule der Künste with Professor Konstantin Scherbakov. I have done my Bachelor in Music (Piano) and a Bachelor in Languages and International Relations in Oporto - Portugal. From September 2023 I will start my Master in Musikpädagogik in ZHdK.

The most important thing for me is to create a pleasant and motivating atmosphere in which the focus is on making music. I am convinced that the best way to learn the flute is to play the music you enjoy playing. The lessons are based on making music together, giving you the tools to practice at home in a fun and efficient way. The lessons can be in German, English or Spanish. About me: I am currently doing a master's degree in music performance with Sarah Rumer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. I have over 7 years experience as a flute teacher and have had students of all ages and levels. I love teaching flute and sharing my passion for the flute with anyone who wants to learn to play it. I completed my pedagogical studies at the Conservatorio Superior "Manuel de Falla" in Buenos Aires with distinction. I have 6 years of experience in several orchestras, such as the National Youth Orchestra of Argentina and I have also won prizes in various flute competitions, including first prize in the International Competition «La Flauta Latinoamericana».

During the past 17 years, I have taught students with different nationalities and backgrounds. I have been teaching students from local Hong Kong school, Hong Kong international school, Kowloon junior international school, French international school and etc. I'm capable to teach different kinds of students no matter they are too active or shy. My goal of teaching is passing my passion in music to the next generation. I also help students to achieve ABRSM exams from Grade 1 to grade 8 level, Including the latest online exam. I can teach in English, Spanish, and High German. More about my classes My guitar teaching model is based on books and the approach of guitarist and pedagogue Abel Carlevaro. In some way, it is about understanding and analyzing the nature of the movements we make to play the guitar or ukelele in the simplest way possible. Just as to build a building you need a good foundation, to build a system of skills that allows us to be musicians, we need to know and practice in a conscious way all the movements we do. These movements are what we do when we play just one open string or what we need to do to play the most difficult piece of the repertoire. After getting to know and listening to how my students play I propose a short and medium-term work plan. This plan is presented taking into account the objectives and wishes of each student. Exercises and pieces are included that will also allow to know the repertoire of the guitar. Therefore, each work plan includes specific and general contents.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts. Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French.
