My French lessons can be designed to prepare beginners to advanced level students for IB French exams, DELF and DALF exams as well as FIDE test. I also specialize in teaching business French to professionals. I have more than 20 years’ experience teaching French in Europe and have had the opportunity to accompany many expatriates living in Switzerland in order to best support them in their learning of French. Practice leads to perfection Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker. However, this does not prevent you from learning to speak it correctly, because it is well known that a language spoken with a foreign accent is an asset of seduction! Although it may seem complicated, learning a new language is always fun and beneficial, so it is important to practice as much as possible and above all not to give up. TECHNOLOGIES FOR LEARNING. Hey, My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance Languages and Literatures since 2012. I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I created LangMethod, a learning method for online courses. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it. -The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course. -If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners). -The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets. -Motivation, laughter, good mood :-) My method: - It's based on speaking. -For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center). -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam. Teacher for more than seven years in Geneva, I am passionate about my work and, in general, by the French language. I raised two beautiful children, one currently working in an NGO in Geneva, the other graduated in engineering, promotion major at Tandon Polytechnic - New York University, USA, in May 2018. Hi I am giving a practical coaching in order to make you get better on speaking French or Spanish. If you are interested on communicate clearly and mastering the pronunciation this is for you. We will practice reading and also some dialogs. Sometimes we will simulate some situations and play, using my knowledge of theater too. Let's Learn and practice in a relaxed and funny way. Theory will be an issue in the messure of the needs of each student.

The form of the lessons adapts to the specific requests, needs and problems of the student. It may include one or more of the following: - help with homework - proofreading/corrections of written work - revisions for exams, essays, courses - help with presentations, talks etc. - correction of gaps and errors through exercises and/or conversations I also generally help with: - organization of a work / review plan, with creation of a calendar, division of labor etc. - memorization: different techniques and advice - the methodology: how to be efficient in your work and in your reading, how to take good notes etc. - concentration and stress management - general advice Classes can be given at the student's home or in a municipal library or in one of the UNIGE. Preferably in an intermediate place between the student's house and mine if the student lives far from the city center.
