Trusted teacher: I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Trusted teacher: I suggest an art therapy session to disconnect you from the stress of everyday life; and immerse yourself in meditative art. The dot-painting technique is an artistic activity recognized for its anti-stress virtues. It is an art accessible to all that allows you to develop your creative side, self-confidence and communication and exchanges. Just like during a yoga or meditation practice; we return our attention to the present moment, to what our body and our mind are doing, we observe and feel our sensations at the moment T without analyzes or judgments; we just refocus. You have understood it: it is about eliminating positive thoughts and welcoming new and colorful energies!

The extended project is a very large and complex task without proper guidance and mentoring. I was lucky enough to receive a brilliant mentor when completing my own, and was a big factor in how I achieved the A grade. Through these sessions the student can share with me their ideas for the EPQ, and I can guide them through all aspects of the process from the activity log to the dissertation itself. I welcome all ideas and projects art related as it is my speciality, but I am open to other subjects too!

Though many people have artistic talent, it's often just getting down and making it that people stumble over (I know I do!!) Having a degree is great (check) but actually making art is what fuels most artists' sense of themselves. I've worked with students who lacked motivation and through play and fun, get back into creativity.

Colour is the basis of all painting. It creates a basis for all colour art and is a whole science in itself. In this lesson, we will look at some basic colour theory, painting our own colour wheels and considering how these might help us when painting or drawing. We will apply what we have learnt to look at some famous paintings and see how these favourite artists used the same colour theory as us today.

1 to 1 Art lessons. I aim to broaden the students knowledge of artistic techniques, introducing them to new styles and artists and resolving this through experimentation. I will always sketch out ideas during conversation to make the concepts more transparent. I will provide a digital booklet for them to fill out their intentions and I will add comments as to what I think could help their explorations, they will also be able to grade their outputs and compare this with my feedback. Self reflection and critique is always a great way of analysing one's artistic outputs.

Trusted teacher: As a whole, the courses include a vast repertory which touches the drawing, painting, design and lexicon of colors (chromatic circle; monochrome; monochrome; tutorial of the visual arts language, etc), linocut, cyanotype, photography, basic photoshop course, performance tutoring, etc. Among others, basic research techniques to design supports for the chosen mediums such as how to stretch your own canvas on a false frame or even the design of homemade paper and more. A conceptual approach is very present, but mixes with the classic course, because you obviously have to start somewhere. These art courses / workshops are more anchored in the technique, but if there is a desire to deepen your knowledge in terms of art history, among others, to better understand the trends of art or artists who have influenced a technique for example there will always be opportunities on demand. For the more advanced, it will also be possible to do tutoring on how to proceed with a research method for the evolution of his art, place of dissemination, creation of a website for their portfolio and how to design it. * It will be possible, in the eventuality, to go outside during photography, drawing or other related courses. Depending on the development or the desire of the apprentice, we could go to a museum, gallery or other activity that will support the learning (provide an additional amount to cover the costs of the activity if necessary ).
