Piano Lessons - from children to adults, any level. Classical music, pop/ rock, etc.
Hello!
I am classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag.
I teach Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults.
Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development!
I am easily adaptable to the students' musical taste and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities.
I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style.
My approach consists of: giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating a rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback!
Thus, my lessons will allow you to:
- Learn how to read scores.
-Develop your musical understanding (from notes, rhythm, harmony, to musical taste, emotional comprehension of the music, or dive into aesthetic principles concerning the period and style of the piece,...).
-Improve, step by step, until you are able to play that piece/song that you love.
-Prepare yourself for exams.
-Etc.
The best thing is that it's possible for you to learn all this and have fun at the same time!
Any question, don't hesitate to contact me.

About Me
I am 27 years old and I'm a classical pianist with a Master's degree in Piano at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag (2022).I teach Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults.
Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development!
Besides teaching, my career revolves around performing regularly solo, with a classical trio and, more recently, playing in experimental and improvisational groups.
I have quite an eclectic musical taste, that goes from classical music to folk, rock, jazz or more electronic genres, and, in this sense, I find myself a person capable of adapting to the students' musical taste, personalities, age, just as to their expectations/goals in music learning.

A great lesson!
André Texeira,
My daughter age 10 sings already and wanted to
play the piano, because she writes her
first song.
My daughter had her first piano lesson online
with you and liked very much. André is very
patient with children. You explain it in a way
that my daughter understand it. She loves it.
Thank you very much for that experiance.
I recomand André for piano lessons.

Piano Lessons for all ages, levels and musical taste - at the students' home
Hello! I am a classical pianist with a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
I have 6 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations, while passing on my knowledge to help the student to develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music.
During the lessons, there are several aspects of piano playing that I can help with, according to the student's aims and musical level:
- learning how to read scores
- basics of music theory
- develop technical capabilities
- learning how to play by heart
- finding your musical taste
- preparing demanding works for piano exams
And the most important aspect, to have fun and enjoy the journey!
Norica
Piano lessons& music theory for beginners and intermediates /ABRSM preparations
Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.
Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercise and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.
I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.
Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of exam are integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam.
Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing in memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.
I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun trainings.
Currently students from 5 to 72 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.
Please drop me a line if you're interested. If you have any questions about the lesson, feel free to ask.
I will be happy to answer to all your questions!
Thank you

Piano classes in Den Haag, Delft and surroundings.
After finishing my Bachelor of Music in Barcelona and at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, I have been working as a piano teacher and accompanist for public and private music schools in Catalonia, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Royal Conservatory.
In my piano lessons, pupils will learn from the very fundamentals of piano playing to a precollege level. During the initial years, I prefer to structure students' learning into three core areas: Music reading, technical skills, and improvisation & free accompaniment (with more advanced learners placing less emphasis on reading). Other proficiencies such as memorization and expressivity also hold significant importance, yet my priority is always the discovery of joy and amusement while making music.
Although my background lies in classical music, I teach a wide variety of styles. I allow the student to lead their learning journey, thus focusing on pieces that align with their interests while simultaneously exposing them to a broader range of musical genres and styles.
I Can teach in English, Spanish and Catalan.

Singing Lessons with a Certified Vocal Coach for all ages and levels. Prof. voc. training for any style:POP/JAZZ/RNB/ROCK/MUSICALS/CLASSICAL
Dominyka is a professional singer, singing and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music.
Over the past decade she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degree in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. She had a chance to participate in various music festivals as a singer, have concerts of her own, be behind the scenes in various TV shows, win several vocal competitions, and she truly developed her ears and her knowledge that she is now also able to help others to find their own unique singing voice.
She has developed her knowledge about vocal technique, CVT method, stage presence, body language, story telling, composition, writing, improvisation, and so on. with various great teachers from all over the world. As well as, she had an honour to participate in workshops of Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Dena DeRose, Bob Stoloff, Norma Winstone, Fay Classon, etc. In addition, she took a course of Stevie Mackey, Cheryl Porter and had lessons with Natalie Weiss.
"I feel like voice is a unique thing and music is such a good therapy. I believe everyone can sing, and I believe that everyone could sing greatly if they are patient and put work in it." - Dominyka
"I promise that with our singing lessons you will learn more about your own voice and that you will develop your own sound as a singer. We work on warm ups/warm downs, breath support and its control, sound projection, how the larynx, jaw and tongue work and can be functioned freely, vowel placement, vocal effects, vocal colour, dynamics, articulation, stage presence, high notes - power singing (belting), jazz improvisation, vocal improvisation, interpretations, rhythmic variations, and so much more. My goal for you is to have the best time and spend lesson's time wisely while we achieve the best results in singing. If there is a wish, I can also help you to broaden your knowledge about the repertoire that is suiting to your voice colour, recording sessions, live performance situations, "a workout plan for singing", songwriting/composing, music theory, ear-training, solfeggio, and such."
I can help all who are interested in finding their own authentic voice.
P.S. ALL STYLES ARE WELCOME ! (pop/jazz/rnb/musicals/and so on)
If you wish to learn how to play piano, read the notes, learn the basic or advanced music theory, practise solfeggio or learn more about jazz harmony - reach out to me because I teach that as well.
See you soon.

Piano Lessons with two Grand Pianos. Preparations for ABRSM and Competition.
There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher.
For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.
After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.
Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.
Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.
The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.
For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Shintaro
Classical Piano Lessons by a real concert pianist (piano/fortepiano)
First of all, you shouldn’t chose an amateur teacher for a reason of a cheap price! I was struggling to play the piano because of a bad amateur piano teacher before I found real artistic teachers who have certain experiences as concert pianists. After years of removing bad behaviors and techniques, I got very conscious of using my body proper way while Practicing and got so much flexibilities on the piano. I would love to share what I learned with my students!
Biography
Shintaro is a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already got the fırst prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying in Kyoto city University of Arts. At the year of his master graduation, he gave a solo recital in Kyoto and his recital was considered as one of the best performances of over 200 concerts in AOYMA Music Foundation. He earned The AOYAMA Music Awards in 2010 and graduated with summa cum laude, Several times, he performed as a soloist with several professional orchestras in Japan, and some of these concerts were broadcasted on TV and radio. Shintaro continued studying the piano in Lucerne with Konstantin Lifschitz supported by Hella Siegrist Fonds and AOYMA Music Foundation. He performed a concerto for left hand by Ravel with Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and James Gaffigan in KKL Lucerne Concert Hall in 2014. His performance was described as "a Brilliant pianist with solid technique and sensitivities" on Luzerner Zeitung. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music and historical instruments and historical practices. He earned the first prize at Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) in The Hague Royal Conservatory and worked as a teacher. He has worked as an accompanist and ensemble pianist for Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra, Opera2day, Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, Noord Nederlands Orkest. He also performed "Mad King" by Maxwell Davies in New European Ensemble on tour in 2021.

Piano lessons for children and adults in The Hague!
Teaching music is teaching a new language. A language that must be learned in all its different forms (speaking/playing, listening, reading and writing) in order to be understood.
One of my main interests as a piano teacher is to provide the students with the most possible instruments for their own development, in order to awaken in them the consciousness of being as they play their instrument.
In the current experience, everything is moving ahead of you at a very fast pace and almost even digested. To come into contact with the art of playing the piano is to immerse yourself in the most beautiful experience of self-discovery while making music, in a bottomless sea of inner growth.
Teaching is another form of communication, keeping traditions alive and giving life to the information by passing it on.
My passion is to communicate through the language of music art, using it as a bridge to reach souls, the souls of tomorrow who will keep this tradition alive.

The violin and the piano have been with me for a long time. I love to teach everything I learn.
I adapt to all levels. It doesn't matter if there is no experience!
The desire to learn is the only thing you need for these classes.
Through all my professional experience, teaching, participating in orchestras and in my training, I have learned a lot about this wonderful thing that is music.

Piano, Composition and Music Theory lessons – Create Your Own Music Worlds
I am a professional composer, performer, pianist and sound artist who believes that sharing knowledge and experience is one of the most important parts of our lives. We are creative human beings by nature. Are you passionate about music and sound and would you like to expand your knowledge? Do you want to learn how to compose your own music or play the piano? There is never too late to start or to continue with your passion!
I believe that education is a dialogue and I adapt the course plan according to the level and the age of students in order to develop their potential. I am always trying to bring the positivity, passion and curiosity for learning.
Depending on your interest I can help you with:
Piano:
I teach using different methods, according to your needs and goals. I always care about setting up and cultivating a healthy technique of playing, trying to bring a complex approach to interpretation or improvisation.
Composition:
Basic principles of creating a musical piece, theory of composition, notation (ranging from classical to graphic and open scores), instrumentation, orchestration, arranging, creating electroacoustic music, computer aided composition, recording.
Music Theory:
Harmony, rhythm, aural skills, music analysis and history of music – these are some of the topics inseparably belonging to music education. Since I have many years of experience of teaching music theory within all levels of education – from basics to advanced – we can find a way how to approach those topics with enthusiasm and creativity and learn as much as possible :)

A new approach to Mandolin and Ukulele - Accompanying, improvising and understanding music in a practical way.
Big music from small instruments.
Mandolin and Ukulele have been quite a hype in the past 10 years. Nevertheless, these two small ones are not often used up to their full potential. Have you ever thought you could be a virtuoso in one of these instruments? That you could actually play in any style and be a great soloist as much as a violinist or a guitarist?
Aside from learning the basics, I will show alternative tunings that will provide you with a better sound, a bigger range to play in, more versatility and comfort for the hand, awesome voicings and a clear visual map of chords, modes, and harmonic movements. I will help you to rethink the mandolin and the ukulele as truly complete and professional instruments and show you how to play on them in a broad variety of styles such as folk, blues, pop, rock, and jazz.
[According to the style we will also be working with loops and effects.]
This class is meant to guide you from the very first steps on your instrument up to a professional level. From beginners to advanced musicians who want to challenge themselves and enlarge their perspective on the instrument.
The lessons will be custom made for each student.
I will work to adapt to your learning rhythm while keeping you challenged at the same time. You will receive regular feedback, advice, and guidance and materials
Don't hesitate to contact me for more details!
