My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations, while passing on my knowledge to help the student to develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music. Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercise and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of exam are integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing in memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun trainings. Currently students from 5 to 72 years old are taking my lessons. After finishing my Bachelor of Music in Barcelona and at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, I have been working as a piano teacher and accompanist for public and private music schools in Catalonia, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Royal Conservatory. In my piano lessons, pupils will learn from the very fundamentals of piano playing to a precollege level. During the initial years, I prefer to structure students' learning into three core areas: Music reading, technical skills, and improvisation & free accompaniment (with more advanced learners placing less emphasis on reading). Other proficiencies such as memorization and expressivity also hold significant importance, yet my priority is always the discovery of joy and amusement while making music. Although my background lies in classical music, I teach a wide variety of styles. I allow the student to lead their learning journey, thus focusing on pieces that align with their interests while simultaneously exposing them to a broader range of musical genres and styles. This class is both for people without any prior knowledge of music production and sound engineering and for people who wish to improve their skills. You will learn how to use computer software for RECORDING, COMPOSING, MIXING and MASTERING songs. You will also learn microphone techniques for recording acoustic instruments and voice. With this knowledge you will be able to produce music in all genres: pop, hip hop, rock, EDM, etc.

Dominyka is a professional singer, singing and piano teacher that is currently based in The Hague. She plays piano, violin and writes her own music. Over the past decade she graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Netherlands with Bachelor's and Master's degree in jazz singing and in pedagogical minor studies. There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Music lessons in a variety of genres, tailor-made for whatever the student (child or adult) requires. I can teach in a strict "classical" style or any song that the student might want to learn (as a composer I am quite savvy in arranging existing songs in any style and for any level). Input (daily practise) is required from the student for productive lessons and, if necessary, homework is given every week. I have experience with individual or group lessons.

In my lessons I offer study of vocal technique but above all I offer fun. I am convinced that singing is first of all therapeutic. First of all, you shouldn’t chose an amateur teacher for a reason of a cheap price! I was struggling to play the piano because of a bad amateur piano teacher before I found real artistic teachers who have certain experiences as concert pianists. After years of removing bad behaviors and techniques, I got very conscious of using my body proper way while Practicing and got so much flexibilities on the piano. I would love to share what I learned with my students! Biography Shintaro is a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already got the fırst prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying in Kyoto city University of Arts. At the year of his master graduation, he gave a solo recital in Kyoto and his recital was considered as one of the best performances of over 200 concerts in AOYMA Music Foundation. He earned The AOYAMA Music Awards in 2010 and graduated with summa cum laude, Several times, he performed as a soloist with several professional orchestras in Japan, and some of these concerts were broadcasted on TV and radio. Shintaro continued studying the piano in Lucerne with Konstantin Lifschitz supported by Hella Siegrist Fonds and AOYMA Music Foundation. He performed a concerto for left hand by Ravel with Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and James Gaffigan in KKL Lucerne Concert Hall in 2014. His performance was described as "a Brilliant pianist with solid technique and sensitivities" on Luzerner Zeitung. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music and historical instruments and historical practices. He earned the first prize at Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) in The Hague Royal Conservatory and worked as a teacher. He has worked as an accompanist and ensemble pianist for Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra, Opera2day, Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, Noord Nederlands Orkest. He also performed "Mad King" by Maxwell Davies in New European Ensemble on tour in 2021.

Teaching music is teaching a new language. A language that must be learned in all its different forms (speaking/playing, listening, reading and writing) in order to be understood. One of my main interests as a piano teacher is to provide the students with the most possible instruments for their own development, in order to awaken in them the consciousness of being as they play their instrument. In the current experience, everything is moving ahead of you at a very fast pace and almost even digested. To come into contact with the art of playing the piano is to immerse yourself in the most beautiful experience of self-discovery while making music, in a bottomless sea of inner growth. Teaching is another form of communication, keeping traditions alive and giving life to the information by passing it on. My passion is to communicate through the language of music art, using it as a bridge to reach souls, the souls of tomorrow who will keep this tradition alive.
