I'm a 27-year-old Taiwanese pianist, got my Master degrees and graduated from Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. Now, I'm based in Singapore and offer individualized piano lessons in English, mandarin to students of all ages and levels in a friendly and encouraging environment. Throughout my studies I have obtained plenty of teaching experience in multiple countries giving private lessons. My life as a performer has allowed me to collaborate with many different people as a soloist with an orchestra, in chamber music concerts, accompanying singers in a variety of musical genres, accompanying choirs and as an accompanist of International masterclasses. It is this acquired flexibility that I wish to encompass in my teaching, the ability to adapt to the students needs and interests while having fun and making visible progress.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Turkish reed flute is an essential instrument of Turkish Classcial Music. It has a deep and dense culture dating from 13. century around. If you want to learn about how to perform it you first need a teacher educated by masters on this field. As of many teachers you can find online but you make sure that not every tutor meets with traditional style. Solfege and method are inseperable parts of the lessons.
