About Me
I am a polymath, I am majoring in chemistry but I am also interested in theoretical physics, sustainable development, permaculture & regenerative agriculture, music, video games as narratives, and linguistics.I am also a polyglot, I have studied over 25 languages, the ones that I am most comfortable speaking are English, German, French, Polish and Danish.
I believe that anyone is capable of learning vast amounts of information, given the right approach. I strive to find the right approach to my students and explain abstract ideas in terms that anyone can understand.
I like to combine knowledge from different, seemingly disparate fields and find analogies and parallels between them, and I hope to show my students the beauty of these parallels that tie together so many different areas of learning.
Education
Moscow State University, Department of Chemistry (6-year Chemistry major, specialising in radiochemistry, my thesis looks at the potential uses of radiation to pre-treat lignin for biorefinery uses)Experience / Qualifications
I have been teaching physical chemistry to advanced pupils for 3 years, and 5 of my pupils have won the Russian Chemical Olympiad in 2021 and 2022, amongst other regional Olympiads. You will learn the most important theoretical aspects of physical chemistry necessary for solving problems at National and International Chemical Olympiads and put them to use in a myriad of problems from previous Olympiads. We will walk through the solutions for problems from the Olympiads of different countries: Canada, Germany, France, Russia, Poland, and others. All problems will be translated into English, so you will be able to access material that your peers can't. Homework will include solving other problems from past Olympiads and doing simpler practice problems.
Additionally, we will look at the practical applications of the theories and what philosophical implications they might have.

You will learn Latin the way it was meant to be learned - through conversation! Medieval scholars and contemporary language researchers alike advocate the use of dialogues and comprehensible input for language acquisition, and it most certainly works! As opposed to the "memorise grammar rules and then babble them in front of the class" approach that was demonstrated by the infamous "Romanēs eunt domus" scene from Monty Python's "The Life of Brian", you will learn to feel the grammar, so that you will be able to use the different cases of Latin without even thinking about it, just like a native speaker!
For this class we will be using the following books, depending on the learner's level:
Hans Øreberg's "Lingua Latīna per sē Illustrāta"
"Corderiī Colloquia"
Erasmus Rask's "Colloquia Familiaria"
John C. Traupman Conversational Latin for Oral Proficiency
I will be the collocutor and I will answer the learner's questions and explain certain oddities solely in Latin (I will use a second language only when the situation calls for it)
We will also engage in free-form conversations, discussions of the dialogues, of our life experiences etc so that the learner can apply what they learn to real-life situations and expand their vocabulary

Mathematics Tutoring in English or Urdu particularly designed to meet your needs.
Mathematics in my opinion is an easy subject to learn as everything is logical and makes sense. Thats why it is important to learn Maths from a person who can help you build solid foundation in Maths and develop your knowledge in a systematic way. And I would be very glad to help you with that.
I believe there is no one perfect method to learn/teach something. Everyone has different requirements. We can arrange a lesson to give you an idea about how we can meet your requirements.

Dillan
Knowledgeable A-Level & GCSE Science Tutor / Medical Student
Hello! I am Dillan and I am 19 years old. I have completed my A-Levels and GCSEs and studied at a top grammar school in the UK, and I am currently a Medical student. I am a keen and enthusiastic tutor with experience.
I have a few years of tutoring experience. I have taught many students subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. I have had students initially reach level 5 in specific issues, and through hard work and some guidance, they reached level 9 as their final GCSE grade.
My teaching style is interactive whiteboard lessons; I use my iPad to annotate and write notes on the virtual whiteboard. My primary focus is to allow the students to understand the material through annotated diagrams. To ensure engagement throughout the lessons, students will be asked different questions, such as why something behaves this way or why this is the answer. I do not just aim for the students to memorise the material but instead to understand the material at hand. From the very beginning, exam questions will be used. I use exam questions from the beginning to help students understand how the mark scheme is structured. Starting exam questions early allows students to practice and perfect their exam technique for the most excellent chance of success in the actual exams.
The subjects I offer are:
Chemistry: KS3, GCSE and A-Level
Physics: KS3, GCSE
Biology: KS3, GCSE and A-Level
Maths: KS3, GCSE
English: KS3, GCSE
Computer Science: KS3, GCSE and A-Level
Economics: GCSE
Medical School Tutoring: Personal Statement advice, UCAT, BMAT & Medical Interviews
Python: Beginner and Intermediate lessons
