Softwares for a photographer like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom CC are some of the most basic necessities that every photographer must know. As a photographer, you'll need to be able to sort through the many complex features that will help make your photos better. You'll learn how to set up the camera and basics of lighting and what are the different technical aspects of photography and lighting and different photo retouching and editing techniques.

I teach Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, from beginner to advanced. In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications. The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management. Structure: The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions. I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs. Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project in Premiere or Avid and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

Getting started in photography doesn’t have to be challenging. I'll start with digital and analog camera basics and provide a thorough explanation on photography elementary concepts like Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. I will also provide a guide on Color Theory in photography and how to do Narrative photography. If possible, there will be practice classes on the field taking pictures around the city. If the person is interested, I will also teach the basics about analog photography (including how to handle an analog camera, the types of roles that exist and how the developing process works). I will use mainly videos and my own presentations but I can provide a range of additional materials if necessary.
