I am a Belgian harpist (°1992) graduated from the conservatory of Antwerp, where I also followed the Alexander Technique. I gained experience in teaching at Art Academy De Poel (Ghent), Einstein Atheneum (Oostakker) and through private lessons. I like to pay a lot of attention to a good, relaxed posture and technique. This prevents complaints in the long term and also benefits a beautiful sound. Passionate pupils and students of all levels are welcome to explore the instrument, repertoire and music in general together. Improvisation and playing music by ear can also be part of the lesson if interested.

Hello, my name is Silvia! I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent. I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career. I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude. I will help students strengthen and consolidate their technical skills on the instrument, but we will also have a lot of fun in playing music! Hi! I'm a violinist currently finishing a Master's in Music at Royal Conservatory in Ghent. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My aim is to motivate students to be creative and enjoy playing music, helping them express their own ideas. A relaxed and natural technique is always one of my focuses, to avoid future injuries and to find ease while playing that will allow you to explore your musicality and feel free.

I am a pianist of more than 11 years of piano professional studies, in conservatorium Martin Tenllado, Spain. At the moment, I am preparing myself for the access exams of KASK in Gent. For over 1 year and a half I spent working with kids of all ages and i have expirience with music pedagogy and adapting the methods to the kid circustance and personality. I also give piano and music lessons for kids with no expirience with music. My native language is Spanish but I have a C1 level of english. Music theory is also really important for piano knowledge and I give customized excercises for the student. Learning a instrument, like piano, open your mind to a lot of perspectives, and for kids and teenagers, can help the development of their imagination, creativity and attention, and giving them the knoledge in a entertaining way, make the classes more interesting.

My name is María, I am 25 years old and I am a professional cellist who graduated in Spain two years ago. Now I am doing a Master in Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. For so many years I have been teaching music in different forms and ages (in already private schools): To people who wanted to get started in the musical language or start playing an instrument, to people who wanted to learn a score. or develop their musical tools, to people who wanted to continue growing as a musician and training their listening and people who wanted to improve their musical theoretical knowledge. If you are just starting out with cello or music, if you want some extra lessons, if you need to prepare and an audition or an exam, if you are doing high level studies, I can help you. I have been studying and playing the cello for many years in different places (orchestras, conservatories, recordings, musicals...) so I think I can give you some good advice in different areas. I like to think (and I do in my lessons) that music is a universal language and that anyone can learn and understand it. Also that each person can make their own approach to this wonderful language. Welcome! I am Helena, I am 23 years old and I currently reside in Belgium doing the Violin Master. I have a lot of experience in the field of teaching, since I was working in a music school as well as giving private lessons. I try to make children feel love for music through both games and teaching them the necessary technique. I offer violin and musical language classes to people of all ages and levels, it is never too early or too late to start in this wonderful world. Depending on each student's level or needs, I use different methods, teaching music and violin for the first time at the same time, using the Suzuki method. I have also prepared entrance exams for the professional conservatory, where it is more focused on improving technique and searching for that musicality that we all have but sometimes is difficult to find. Also to older people who want to dedicate themselves as a hobby, teaching both classic works and a more modern repertoire.

After finishing my studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del País Vasco (Musikene), I am now in Ghent for my Master's degree at the Kask Konservatorium & School of Arts Ghent. I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty. I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject! Sometimes one can forget how important the use of the body is and how the right use can make everything easier, that's why I like to introduce my students to different fields related to body and mental relaxation.

I don't mind encountering difficulties on your learning path as a musician because it has allowed me to discover, research and learn many different ways of playing the violin. What came of it? I am a passionate, versatile classical musician who has found a special connection with her instrument.
