Master of Violin Teaching with 25 years of teaching experience - violin lessons for all levels, for children and adults

I offer violin lessons for total beginners, beginners with couple months/years of playing and intermediate students.  I can also teach students who want to become a serious musicians or want to continue their path on conservatories, but only as an additional teacher. On lessons, students can play program chosen by their primary teacher or program, which is decided by me, based on their skills and wishes. We will work on classical pieces as well as some chamber music pieces, scales, technique exercises and themed pieces for holiday seasons. I try to put myself in the student's shoes and thus help him more easily. Every student is different, so I don't just force a certain way of teaching, I adapt according to wishes, personality, abilities and age. I believe in the power of good technique, so my students play scales, finger exercises and etudes. Depending on their level of playing, I choose a suitable program, which we prepare according to the student's best abilities. Despite all the things that are required of me, I expect work from my students and, above all,  joy in learning such a beautiful thing as music.

Music is a wonderful way of bringing joy and people together. My goal is to give you the tools to share it with the people around you. In this class you will learn the basics of violin technique such as the correct body posture, violin hold and the grip of the bow. In combination with violin, a introduction to music theory will also be taught! A personalized plan can be made for each student according to their own musical taste, this could range from classical, film, folk, pop music and others. Students of all ages are welcomed!

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I give violin lessons from beginners to advanced level for all ages online or in person. For more than twenty years, I have been successfully teaching children, young people and adults alike to achieve their goals on the violin. I help them along the basics, mastering a certain piece of their choice, a music style or playing chamber music, preparing for an exam or audition. I work with children in a fun, playful way, considering their own tempo of progress, their ability to concentrate, and their individual interests. Starting from the basics, through secure violin and bow holding, we progress through easy but enjoyable small pieces to more complex pieces of music. From the beginning, I put a lot of emphasis on developing a beautiful violin sound. Integrated into the lessons, we learn reading the music notes and music theory, musical understanding, and expression. I welcome adults as well, whether active, improve your level or beginners! With them, we can discover other musical styles besides the classical style, such as country, klezmer or Irish music. Chambermusic ensembles (trio, quartet) are also welcome, with them we will develop rehearsal techniques and intonation.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone.
