Hello! I am a classical pianist with a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. I have 6 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations, while passing on my knowledge to help the student to develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music. Hello ! I am French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I play Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master degrees in modern horn and in natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern AND historical instruments, as well as music theory. I work with all ages, all levels, all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you a quality musical time ! I teach children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people in their way to an enjoyable, musical and informed brass playing. My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me and more. I can teach in a strict "classical" style or any song that the student might want to learn (as a composer I am quite savvy in arranging existing songs in any style and for any level). Nowadays, composing music using technology creates endless creative possibilities that demand the musician/composer to adapt to numerous technical and artistic challenges. Do you like experimenting with sound and making music that does not clearly belong to a particular genre or style? Interested in bringing a fresh perspective and out-of-the-box thinking to your music production? Are you just starting out in electronic music composition and wondering how to develop your own style? This course is just what you need. In this class, you will learn: - how to transform sound using analogue and digital techniques. - how to create sound structures and organise them in a DAW enviroment to compose a piece of music. - how to record, edit and mix sounds using both conventional and experimental techniques. - how to use improvisation in both the context of live performance and composition. - about the theory and practice of free improvisation. - about the history and origins of electronic music and how it affected the music we listen today. - how to document and communicate procedures related to your artistic practice. - how to create an artistic portfolio. Aspiring musicians with a background in any genre can take advantage of this course. A formal education in music or experience with electronic music composition are not required to follow. However, you should be unafraid of experimenting with sound and music technology! Each class is customized to meet the needs of the individual student in an innovative and flexible way! The course can also serve as a preparation for applying to several Dutch educational programmes related to electronic music composition (Institute of Sonology, HKU, ArtEZ, etc.). The class is focused on small assignments that help the student develop a sense of orientation and set goals. Recording, editing, and mixing will be done via the DAW "Reaper," but we can switch to your preferred software at any time. We will use the first lesson to discuss your background, interests, and motivations in order to develop a course structure that is tailored to your needs.

I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Classes suitable for all ages, levels and tastes. It is not required to have prior knowledge of music. In my classes I offer you in a pleasant and effective way the mind-body integration with the cello. I will quickly teach you how to solve a passage, find the root of a problem, clarify solfeggio doubts and incorporate it into the cello with a physical feeling of comfort, that you feel comfortable and that you can finally enjoy the music you are able to make :) If you are starting into the cello, all the above is valid, it will be your base for takeoff! And if you are already initiated in the instrument, my classes will serve as reinforcement to be able to incorporate new elements that will facilitate your execution. My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students. I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place! If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me! FIRST LESSON: The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste. TECHNIQUE: Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge. In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly! Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun! ABOUT ME: I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota. During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain. Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio. I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

I am a composer/pianist with a master's degree in composing for film from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a bachelor's degree from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. recently I have been doing my Ph.D. in composition at the University of Birmingham. It is a distant program so I go to the UK 2 times per year. I have 10 years of experience teaching music to children and adults. My lessons are tailor-made based on the interests of my students and especially with children I always find ways to have fun while doing the lessons. I believe that learning music should've filled with joy but at the same time disciplined.
