I’m a guitarist and guitar teacher, in Maastricht and I would like to present you my guitar lessons, also with music theory included and sessions of music for children and families. The space is bright, full of light and appropriate for children, in the center of Maastricht! Activities for all ages! I'm also prepared to teach online!

Individual lessons based on the needs of each student, using a mix of classic and innovative teaching methods. Lessons are one hour, 45 minutes or 30 minutes each, but can be adapted as required. My work experience allows me to structure lessons for children aged 5 and up and for people of all ages. Hello everyone. My name is Maria and I love playing and teaching cello. The nice, emotional, and depth sound of the cello attracted my interest from the age of four and I decided from this young age to start learning how to play this beautiful instrument. As the years were passing by I was getting more and more impressed from the glory of music and of the cello. So my love and my passion became a profession. I am from Greece and I lived in the Netherlands for the last five years. I finished my Bachelor studies in cello performance at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague and I obtained a certificate in Music Education. Now I am continuing my master studies at Conservatorium Maastricht and I work in parallel as a freelance cellist and cello teacher. Teaching is my passion. In the last 5 years, I teach regularly. Beginners, elder amateur cellist, advanced teenagers, and kids of all ages are some of my students. I have plenty of patience, and I am able to adapt my system to the needs and capacities of each student. As a teacher, I focuse on developing the cello technique and the musicality of my students. Basic music theory, rhythm, and ear training are part of her lessons too. The focus of my teaching is to make my student love the process of learning music and cello. I have a Master's degree from Liszt Ferenc in Budapest, Hungary, and a Master's degree from Columbus State University in the United States. I am currently a piano professor and collaborative pianist at the Universidad del Valle and Conservatorio "Antonio María Valencia" in Colombia. Besides my career as a pianist, I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Piano, music theory, and history for all ages and categories. Even if you are a beginner we can make it! I have a personal method where I combine both classical and commercial repertoire depending on the student’s preferences. I usually play four hands with my students as well and organize at least one concert a year with all my students where they can meet and share their experiences. I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument.
