Tailor-made cello lessons for all ages and levels! Currently via webcam I studied at the conservatories of Antwerp and Ghent and obtained my master's degree as a performing musician and my diploma in specific teacher training. In addition to experience as a performing musician, I am also active as a teacher of solfège and cello. I have experience as a teacher with children and adults. Hello, my name is Silvia! I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the Postgraduate Musical Performance Practice at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent. I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children, teenagers and young adults. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career. I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude. Provided I follow my master's diploma tuba (euphonium), master percussion as well as master trombone, I can teach different instruments. During the lessons there is the choice to implement solfège or to keep only the instrument technical. I work very constructively and I like to listen to the wishes / goals of the student. I've spent my whole live practicing and playing cello and I can assure it's one of the most marvelous things one can do. Even if you struggle! I can teach either beginners or amateurs who want to get better at it, or higher level students who want to perfect their craft. Also, if you are somebody thinking about starting with this instrument, do not have any doubt! I base myself on the teachings received from my teachers during all my years of study, in which I have always been especially interested in the importance of the figure of the teacher for the healthy development of students. I adapt to the technical and musical needs of each student, even if we start from 0, without prior musical knowledge. We will work on every aspect of cello playing: Both hands' technique, posture, musical expression... Musical theory, solfège, harmony, etc. are also possible!

Learning to practice an instrument well is very important. I really value this very much in my lessons. From the moment one can practice well, it progresses much faster, so that you also prefer to play. I started quite late, so I had to catch up a lot in a short time. In the beginning it progressed quickly, but as the pieces got more difficult I needed new practice techniques. I practiced so badly and that is very demotivating over time. I eventually learned to practice well by asking a lot of different people for help and now I'm making faster and faster progress. I would really like to share this info, so I think I have something to offer for young and old, even if I haven't been doing it that long.

My name is Irene, I started my career as a cellist in the south of Spain, between Andalusia and Murcia, where I did my bachelor's degree in cello performance. Later I moved to Belgium to continue my studies, where I studied the Master in Classical Music (cello performance) at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. I have been teaching cello for 8 years both in Spanish and English to all ages and levels, combining my teaching activity with the interpretative improvement of my instrument. I have collaborated with numerous national orchestras and I have received master classes from great cellists at an international level. In Belgium, I currently collaborate with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Flanders and the Chamber Orchestra of Flanders, among others. Hi! I'm a violinist currently finishing a Master's in Music at Royal Conservatory in Ghent. I started playing violin at the age of 6, and studying with numerous professors made me realize how important an individualized pedagogical approach is for good development. My aim is to motivate students to be creative and enjoy playing music, helping them express their own ideas. A relaxed and natural technique is always one of my focuses, to avoid future injuries and to find ease while playing that will allow you to explore your musicality and feel free.

I give guitar lessons in a variety of genres in Ghent and the surrounding area. Music theory lessons are also available. Both for beginners and for people who have been playing the guitar for years but want to work on their technique or improvisation skills. Learn to play the songs / genres that you want. I am a pianist of more than 11 years of piano professional studies, in conservatorium Martin Tenllado, Spain. At the moment, I am preparing myself for the access exams of KASK in Gent. For over 1 year and a half I spent working with kids of all ages and i have expirience with music pedagogy and adapting the methods to the kid circustance and personality. I also give piano and music lessons for kids with no expirience with music. My native language is Spanish but I have a C1 level of english. Music theory is also really important for piano knowledge and I give customized excercises for the student.
