Every student is unique and presents a different set of needs, expectations, abilities and ethnographic background. I have found tutoring and teaching to be immensely intrinsically rewarding because my students always appreciate the professional and empathetic assistance I am able to provide to them.

Learn to Love Writing. Improve your academic and professional writing in English with quick steps to useful improvements
It's easy to get confused writing in English. Even if it is your first language, the way you write for academic, professional or adult purposes is very different to what they teach you at school.
I have significant expertise in every major field of writing, and can help you improve your written English. Depending on your personal needs, this could be anything from helping you get comfortable with just putting sentences together all the way to improving your academic referencing and citation style.

Philosophy/Ethics and History from sixth grade
I offer tutoring for the subjects philosophy and history from the sixth grade up to university. In philosophy, my main focus is on moral theory and epistemology. I have in-depth knowledge in these areas and am able to help students improve their understanding and skills in both of these subjects. Before the first tutoring session, I would like to discuss the topic in question in order to prepare the appropriate teaching material and put the teaching unit together.
Anyone interested is welcome to get in touch.
Jai Yoon
Private Tutor for English Language Reading and Writing
Hello, I am Jai, and I have graduated from an American middle school and high school. I am interested in helping middle school, high school, or university students with their essay-writing and reading comprehension skills. The tutor sessions will vary, depending on your goals, motivations, and needs. For instance, if you have a school assignment, we can review your work and go over your strengths and weaknesses; if you want to improve your overall English, we can structure the session as if it were an English high school class (since that is what I am most familiar with). However, since learning a language requires one to read, write, listen, and speak the language, the session will inevitably touch upon these adjacent skills.
The areas I am most experienced with tutoring are: schoolwork, standardized English-language exams (e.g., TOEFL, SAT, AP English Literature and Composition), and proofreading university-level academic writing.

I teach all areas under English and also help students with undergraduate applications to Universities in the U.S.A
Relying on Carol's Dweck research in teaching and learning, I believe that a student who is struggling is just a student who hasn't YET understood the concept being taught. I hope to help students develop a growth-mindset in order to do well in the subject areas I teach (NB: I encourage students to watch the 11 min Tedtalk by Dweck titled "The power of yet").
My class is student-focused which means that I constantly adjust lessons to students current level while encouraging them to excel.
