I'm Alfredo, I graduated from the Electric Bass Jazz and Modern Music performance course at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu and later graduated from the Master's in Jazz Performance at Codarts University of the Arts. My methodology is based on adapting the content of the class and the way of teaching it to the needs and learning process of the student. The most efficient way to learn music is through motivation and for this reason I place great emphasis on the idea of working on the music that the student listens to. No matter what genre of music we work on, any type of music can make you improve in all aspects. Music has always brought me amazing opportunities to connect to inspiring people throughout my life. I personally love many different types of music from around the world but my favourite styles to play are Jazz/Soul and Latin music. I have been singing since I can remember and understood the importance of playing instruments from a very young age. I feel fortunate to have been able to work on my musical skills through leading and playing in many different bands, performing in bars and different events and recording with some pretty cool people. Personally, I think it helps to learn and practice songs that you like because it motivates and speeds up the learning process. I am happy to suggest some songs that would suit your style as we go. I'm very flexible when it comes to the lesson. I like to personalize them to your goals and needs, from which I create specific exercises for listening, rhythm, technique and music theory (which can seem unapproachable at first) I have seen my students grow through ups and downs through putting in time. Key is showing up to the lessons, from there you are already growing. I strongly believe music is a universal language that can be learned and enjoyed by everyone, as long as they put their mind to it.
