In 2022 I obtained my Masters degree in Classical Guitar Soloist Performance at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. During my career, I have performed concerts as a soloist and in ensembles in several venues in Europe. In parallel to my career as a performer, I have been giving private lessons to children and adults for 5 years. As a teacher, I always adapt to the needs and demands of each student. Hello! I am a classical pianist with a Master's Degree at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. I have 6 years of teaching experience, with students from all ages and levels. My teaching methodology is focused on adapting to the student's needs and motivations, while passing on my knowledge to help the student to develop musical independence and create a personal connection with music. Hello! I am classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I teach Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the students' musical taste and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. Bassoon lessons: In this lessons you will be able to learn how to play the bassoon, to blow and tune, to play in groups, understand the harmonic and melodic system of the interpretation of the different music styles. You will be able to learn how to make your own reeds and how to repair them. Duration of the lesson is generally 60 minutes, but it can be always the student`s choice. The dynamics of the classes is focused on the interpretation and musical understanding, as well as the elaboration and maintenance of reeds, all looking for a positive, dynamic and fun environment. Music Theory lessons: Here you will be able to learn how to understand the composers and their music; historical and theorical reasons of why music is written in different ways during the evolution of music history. You will be also able to learn how to read and sing music. Composition skills are also available. The duration of the lesson is under choice. Both bassoon an music theory lessons can be combined.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

After finishing my Bachelor of Music in Barcelona and at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, I have been working as a piano teacher and accompanist for public and private music schools in Catalonia, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Royal Conservatory. In my piano lessons, pupils will learn from the very fundamentals of piano playing to a precollege level. During the initial years, I prefer to structure students' learning into three core areas: Music reading, technical skills, and improvisation & free accompaniment (with more advanced learners placing less emphasis on reading). Other proficiencies such as memorization and expressivity also hold significant importance, yet my priority is always the discovery of joy and amusement while making music. Although my background lies in classical music, I teach a wide variety of styles. I allow the student to lead their learning journey, thus focusing on pieces that align with their interests while simultaneously exposing them to a broader range of musical genres and styles. First of all, you shouldn’t chose an amateur teacher for a reason of a cheap price! I was struggling to play the piano because of a bad amateur piano teacher before I found real artistic teachers who have certain experiences as concert pianists. After years of removing bad behaviors and techniques, I got very conscious of using my body proper way while Practicing and got so much flexibilities on the piano. I would love to share what I learned with my students! Biography Shintaro is a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already got the fırst prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying in Kyoto city University of Arts. At the year of his master graduation, he gave a solo recital in Kyoto and his recital was considered as one of the best performances of over 200 concerts in AOYMA Music Foundation. He earned The AOYAMA Music Awards in 2010 and graduated with summa cum laude, Several times, he performed as a soloist with several professional orchestras in Japan, and some of these concerts were broadcasted on TV and radio. Shintaro continued studying the piano in Lucerne with Konstantin Lifschitz supported by Hella Siegrist Fonds and AOYMA Music Foundation. He performed a concerto for left hand by Ravel with Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and James Gaffigan in KKL Lucerne Concert Hall in 2014. His performance was described as "a Brilliant pianist with solid technique and sensitivities" on Luzerner Zeitung. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music and historical instruments and historical practices. He earned the first prize at Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) in The Hague Royal Conservatory and worked as a teacher. He has worked as an accompanist and ensemble pianist for Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra, Opera2day, Residentie Orkest in Den Haag, Noord Nederlands Orkest. He also performed "Mad King" by Maxwell Davies in New European Ensemble on tour in 2021.

I have been teaching both the pedal and lever harp for the past 5 years to students ranging from 7 years old to 50! I am very passionate about teaching and hope to inspire my students to love music just as much as I do! I take a patient approach to each student and after a short period of time I am always happy to see great progress in my students playing. Several of my students have won international competitions in 'The Feis Ceoil' in Dublin and have also gone onto study music in university. A lot of my students also learn to play the harp as a beautiful hobby!
