Als je Engels wil leren of jouw Engels wil verbeteren, ben ik misschien de juiste leraar voor jou. Ik bied gepersonaliseerde lessen aan die leuk, interactief en gebaseerd zijn op wat mijn studenten nodig hebben en willen leren. Ik doe dit door middel van een verscheidenheid aan activiteiten om u stap voor stap te helpen uw vaardigheden op te bouwen; inclusief onder andere rollenspellen (gebaseerd op real-life situaties), Q & A's en games. Het doel is om je aan het praten te houden! De lessen worden vooral in het Engels gegeven, hierdoor kun je tijdens de les zoveel mogelijk Engels leren en oefenen. Maak je geen zorgen over het maken van fouten; door fouten te maken en ervan te leren word je zelfs beter. Herhaling is een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn lessen. Ik ga vaak terug om te controleren of je je nog herinnert wat in voorgaande lessen is geïntroduceerd. Ik bied ook lessen aan die gericht zijn op de voorbereiding op internationale examens Engels zoals de IELTS en TOEFL. Voordat we met onze lessen beginnen, wil ik weten wat jouw redenen zijn om Engels te leren. Als je al enige kennis van het Engels hebt zal ik bepalen wat jouw exacte niveau is. Zodra ik weet wat jouw behoeften, interesses en niveau zijn, kan ik de juiste materialen selecteren en de juiste cursus voor jou ontwerpen. We kunnen werken met een leerboek (plus extra materiaal) of met mijn eigen lesmateriaal. Ik maak gebruik van video's, dia's, werkbladen en ander lesmateriaal. Als je het leuk vindt, kan ik je ook oefeningen en bronnen per e-mail sturen, zodat je zelfstandig kan blijven leren. Bij twijfel kun je mij altijd bereiken via e-mail of WhatsApp. Onze lessen kunnen online zijn (met Zoom, Skype of een platform naar keuze), of ik kan bij jou thuis komen (in Haarlem, Velserbroek, Santpoort-Zuid, Santport-Noord, Driehuis, Beverwijk, IJmuiden of Overveen). De lessen kunnen een-op-een zijn of in een kleine groep.

You will be able to speak some Spanish from the beginning. Paying attention to your own interests and needs, with adapted classes and a flexible teaching methodology. Spanish is my native language and I have a lot of experience teaching languages and other subjects (Spanish, English, Catalan and Music). I work as a Spanish teacher at an International School so I have a lot of experience teaching and adapting my lessons to any kind of student. In my classes you will learn all about Spanish language: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, conversations... And in addition, I will teach you everything you would like to know about Spanish culture. You could even learn while cooking Spanish food!

Private English lessons for 1 to maximum 3 students at a time - your choice of course. I developed a successful fun and easy way to learn speaking, reading and writing in English. Singing and laughing in English is allowed during class 😁. Also, outdoor activities that help learning English are sometimes taking place (after weather and parents permission of course).

If you need to start from scratch, work on your grammar or would rather have conversation lessons, I'm here to help you. I am passionate about facilitating productive cross-cultural understanding. Therefore, it would be a pleasure to teach you about Brazil's culture and give you Rio tips in case you are travelling there soon. In case you are curious, my favorite approaches/methods are the Communicative Approach and Audio lingual method. I also teach online via Skype or Zoom.
