I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in editing, the drafting of articles, text correction, and proofreading for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium and Europe. I have written, ghostwritten, edited, or proofread a variety of articles, academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. My main background is primarily political/policy based, with a career writing on Anti-Competition actions and law (for PaRR-Global), but in my career and profession I have dealt with a far-range of subject matters including the Medical, Academic, Financial, Scientific, and Political fields. I am a fully qualified primary school teacher based in Falkirk with over 15 years of experience particularly in the upper primary level. If your child needs additional input in English or Maths to help them reinforce their classroom learning or if they are looking to extend themselves to work at Third Level in preparation for High School or Entrance Exams, then I am here to help. After our initial ‘get to know you’ session, I will build a program of learning that will support your child in all identified areas, helping them to feel more confident with concepts or skills they have found tricky to master as well as challenge them to reach their full potential moving towards higher level learning. My goal is to create supportive and engaging session where students feel motivated to explore, make mistakes in a safe environment and ultimately, experience success, helping to boost their confidence in any classroom or examination setting. Mathematics is often seen as a problem area for many students and their ‘tricky’ subject. With every student that identifies this as an area for development, my focus is on building a strong foundation in maths reinforcing key concepts, using key problem-solving strategies as well as developing critical thinking skills. Through the use of real-world, tangible examples, I will help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and how they can be applied in their own lives. This work will be followed up with targeted areas for further practice, consolidation and/or additional challenge. During my writing sessions, I will guide students in developing their practical writing skills, i.e. grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and organisation of points/plot. Whilst encouraging creativity throughout, I will ensure there are multiple opportunities for students to express themselves through various writing genres. We will also work on editing and reviewing with feedback sessions built in to help consolidate the techniques introduced. I strongly believe that reading is the key to unlocking a whole world of knowledge and imagination. In my reading sessions, I will focus on developing essential skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocab. Through a variety of activities, including reading aloud, guided reading, discussion and analysis, I will help students improve their reading abilities, expand their literary horizons, and hopefully, foster a lifelong love for books. In this class I'd do my best to explain what a story is, what characters, themes and messages are. I will also teach you the relationships between them and how to make your own unique characters, worlds and stories. This class is for beginner writers and narrative designers.

The course is centered on Systems Theory and Elinor Ostrom's Situational Action Theory. The purpose is to inform pupils of the work of Niklas Luhmann, the XX-century German sociologist of law, who has written a new perspective on relationships among social actors and the surrounding environment. The course is furthered through the brilliant asset constituted by Ostrom's theory, demonstrating that everyday life and RWG (real-world games) have the chance to show reality as they are interwoven with cognition and behavioral decision-making. We will explore the fundamentals of probability laws together, with a cut on unprepared responses to unexpected events.
