Cello, singing and theory lessons from bilingual Welsh and English speaker

Hello! My name is Aurel and I am a French Amsterdam-based drummer. Although currently specialized in Jazz music, I have studied various esthetics, and Pop and Rock music, in particular, are part of my background (I played in several pop-rock bands). Therefore I am able to teach a broad panel of music styles. I also have many drum methods and charts at my disposal, and have experience in teaching children from the age of 6, as well as teenagers and adults. Lessons and teaching method: I always adapt to the student's tastes and learning profiles. This is why, during the first lesson, and on a regular basis afterwards, I always take time to discuss with my students (or their parents if they are very young) to figure out together the path they want or need to follow. I will use charts and methods for those who need visual support to assimilate the skills or teach by ear and by demonstrating to the ones who feel more comfortable this way. I also play electric guitar and can jam with my students, which is a great tool for developing band playing skills or simply to have a good time. For those eager to make significant progress, I offer consistent and serious monitoring, with practice recommendations. I can for instance prepare a student for an audition or an entrance exam in a conservatory. If you are willing to improve your understanding of rhythm in general, you can also benefit from my knowledge of Indian Karnatic rhythm concepts, one of the most complete traditional approaches to rhythm. Students who simply want to learn at their pace, to have fun and unwind, are definitely welcome too! About me: In addition to my jazz drums bachelor and master degrees from the conservatory of Amsterdam (CvA), which included a thorough pedagogical training and a specialization in Indian Karnatic techniques, I benefit from 4 years of experience as an employed drum teacher in two French associative music schools (Ecole de musique de Nangis and Conservatoire des Deux Rives, Moret-sur-Loing). I am also an active musician, both on the Dutch and the French scene. My trio mainly tours in France and has played at venues such as the Sunside (Paris), or participated in competitions like the Keep An Eye International Jazz Award. I am also the co-leader of the sextet Chai Masters, finalist of several European competitions (Leiden Jazz Award, Golden Jazz Trophy in Lille, France, 7 Virtual Jazz Contest). Hey! Professional opera singer and highly educated vocal teacher here :) . I am an operatic soprano and a dedicated vocal teacher with more than 10 years of experience in the profession. I hold a Master of Music with Distinction degree in Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music in London, and a Bachelor of Music with Honours degree in Vocal Pedagogy from the Moscow University of the Humanities. I am truly passionate about teaching singing and vocal technique! I always work closely with each student, and tailor my lessons to fit student's needs and wishes best - that way together we always achieve fantastic results! Through my lessons, I will teach you the proper on-breath singing with a free and well-supported sound. I learned a lot in helping. One of these things is that children learn faster through play and/or music. As a result, I have put together a special program to give children a good start in their language skills, or to help them improve them. Before the lesson starts, we will see how far developed the child is. When I have established that, we will first spend half an hour talking words based on pictures. The last hour is music central. We will choose a song together (children's songs) and learn it together. The more progress, the more difficult (language area) the songs will become.

Hi, I'm Federica, I am Italian and I am a jazz piano player and singer, I studied at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague. I'm doing my Master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I give piano jazz/pop/classical piano lessons but my main goal is to try to give to the student a general underestanding of the music in order to approach every style and to have fun with music! I really love to work with children, I like to teach them good values like patience, selfe-confidence, trust, communication, collaboration, all through the music. Former student at the Paris conservatory in piano, jazz/improvisation/classic and graduate of a bachelor's degree in music and musicology from La Sorbonne University, I would be delighted to share with you my passion for music. I already have a very good experience in teaching as I have taught in private schools and as a home teacher in Paris, with students ranging from 5 to 40 years old, and that over than seven years of teaching. Whether you are an avid music lover or a student at the conservatory wanting to improve your musical analysis, I will always approach my teaching in an entertaining and not too academic way. The subject matter is quite vast but with my studies at conservatories, university and school I can mix many areas of music that lead to composition and computer production. I am very comfortable with Logic Pro, so if you are a beginner, or advanced we can always find something to play with. (for the more advanced for example: bus architecture, preset, template, workflow...) I can also teach protools and mixing at intermediate to advanced level. I would be delighted to pass on my musical knowledge to you whether it is instrumental, theoretical or computer production.

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler. During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old. When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts. I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free. Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Oud is a type of middle eastern guitar, similar to the lute. Its musical style varies from place to place. In this class I aim to teach the basics such as technique, tuning, some basic maqams (scales in western music) and sample songs to practice. This class is aimed for beginners who want to get started with this charmimg instrument.
