Trusted teacher: While being a guitar teacher for many years I realized the demand for developing skills in recording, composing and producing one's own music using audio software. As our lives become more and more influenced by digitalisation, it is my belief that also our music education should adapt to this. So, whether you want to record your own ideas, make beats on your laptop, learn about synthesizers or audio production, feel free to reach out to me! My teaching method is based on developing your own creativity right from the start, while learning useful techniques and knowledge about audio software etc. on the way. I mainly use Ableton, but a lot can be done in GarageBand or even on your tablet or phone! If you're already playing an instrument we will try to connect both practices, but if you're just starting out with doing music, that works as well and together we learn unconventional methods to get you started on your journey. I encourage people of all levels of experiences and levels (even kids!) to give it a try, it can be so much fun! I'm a professional composer and musician, currently pursuing a master's degree in electroacoustic music at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Trusted teacher: I specialise in violin and viola lessons for ABRSM exams. I have been teaching since 2012, and since 2016 I have also been teaching over Skype. My students have had many successful results for ABRSM exams, high school scholarship auditions and local music competitions. I have been teaching theory grades 1-5 for since 2018, with some students achieving distinction level results. I teach internationally via Skype with students in the UK, Denmark, Sweden, and the USA. I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts. I work as a professional viola player across the UK and Scandinavia, with such orchestras as The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Royal Opera House (Stockholm), Bergen Philharmonic, Norwegian Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Jonkoping Sinfonietta, Aarhus Symphony, and English National Ballet Philharmonic. Thao is an excellent teacher: energetic and patient, encouraging always and cheerful. She's great both with kids and adults (she teaches both me and my son).
