Learning a language is an enriching and challenging process that involves acquiring the ability to communicate in a language other than one's mother tongue. OBJETIVES: 1. **Development of communicative skills:** The main expectation is that students will improve their communication skills in Spanish, both in oral and written expression. This includes the ability to understand and respond in everyday situations, as well as the ability to write coherent and effective texts. 2. **Vocabulary and grammar acquisition:** Students should expect to learn new vocabulary and understand the grammatical rules of Spanish. This involves knowing nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, and other parts of grammar, as well as learning how to use them correctly. 3. **Listening and Reading Comprehension:** Students are expected to improve their ability to understand spoken and written Spanish. This involves understanding conversations, television programs, movies, music, as well as reading texts in Spanish, such as books, news, and websites. 4. **Culture and context:** Spanish classes often include cultural aspects and contextualization so that students understand how the language is used in different contexts. This may include the history and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. 5. **Interaction and participation:** Students must be willing to actively participate in class. This includes speaking in Spanish during practical activities, asking questions to clarify doubts, and participating in group discussions and activities. 6. **Assignments and Assessment:** Students are expected to complete assigned tasks and projects, such as homework, tests, and final projects. Assessment is used to measure student progress and understanding. 7. **Constant practice:** Learning a language requires constant practice, so students are expected to spend time outside of class reviewing and practicing what they have learned. 8. **Flexibility and adaptation:** Students must be willing to adapt to different pedagogical approaches, as teaching methods may vary by teacher and educational institution. 9. ** Dedication and patience:** Learning a language can be a challenging process, so students are expected to be patient and willing to face challenges along the way. 10. **Personal goals and specific objectives:** Students should set personal objectives and specific goals for their Spanish learning. This helps to maintain motivation and measure progress over time. In summary, in this Spanish learning class we seek to provide students with the skills necessary to communicate effectively in Spanish and understand the Spanish-speaking culture. However, success in learning the language also depends heavily on the individual effort and dedication of the students outside of the online meetings (Zoom, Meet or M Teams).

I was born in China with love and encouragement from my family and teachers. From an early age, my mom, dad, and brother told me many funny and famous stories and fairy tales about Chinese Culture. All of these beautiful and traditional histories teach me how to love&respect others, how to be brave, and how to persist in my passion. I love my country and its charming, traditional culture. I hope I can convey what I have learned to others someday. And then my dream comes true. Now, I am studying at the Geneva Graduate Institute which is a famous university focusing on political research and analysis. It is my first time to study and live abroad. I hope I can balance the high living expenses through teaching, and I believe this is a good way for me to learn and communicate with local people(you or your children). What you can learn through my courses: - Learning with fun. I know it is not easy to study another language. But there are several ways to help you(your children) love to study Chinese, such as Picture Book Teaching, Chinese songs, or intriguing multimedia tools(movies and videos). -Specific teaching method for yourself. My past five-year working experience is to teach teachers how to improve their learning skills. One of the most important methods is to adjust and design the teaching method according to the ability and interest of each student. I will teach you(or your children) to study in an appropriate way through the pre-course testing, assignments, and interaction. -Chinese language and culture. China has a long history of 5,000 years, and there are so many histories, poems, and stories during the long period of time. You( or your children)can learn a lot about Chinese culture and local customs while studying Chinese.

Khalil
I recommend Khalil without a doubt to anyone looking to improve his/her German level in both writing and speaking. He is a very professional, structured and knowledgeable teacher. He was able to immediately evaluate my level of German during the very first lesson and adjust the teaching methodology and materials accordingly. I am truly impressed with his patience and dedication towards teaching the proper German pronunciation with all its complexities and difficulties as well as the proper rules when it comes to grammar and language. We also had lessons using Skype which is also a good option for those who have a limited amount of spare time or are too far apart from the teacher. It is obvious that Khalil loves what he is doing and is willing to put all his effort into his passion. I wholeheartedly recommend Khalil for anyone wanting to learn the language.

Private lessons to learn Japanese culture and language (Hettange-Grande)
Maki
For a long time I had been looking for a Japanese teacher in Luxembourg for private lessons until I found Maki-sensei. Her teaching style is really meeting my needs: she is encouraging me to talk more in Japanese while working on my vocabulary and grammar. She is using a range of teaching materials, such as text books, audio clips, short movie-clips, and articles from web-sites, which makes her lessons very enjoyable and rewarding. After the lesson Maki-sensei provides me with a write-up with newly learned words and corrections. I am always looking forward to the next lesson and strongly recommend her for anybody wanting to learn Japanese or about Japanese culture.

Sanghee
I already had a few lessons with Sanghee and I can definitely recommend her! Her patient and interactive teaching style work very well together with her well planned, organized lessons and her nice personality. Her classes are completely in Korean so that in itself teaches you a lot and will improve your speaking abilities immediately, especially if speaking in Korean is still difficult for you. If you don't understand something she of course will switch to English. The homework also keeps my study drive going and I already have the feeling that I can express myself better in Korean. :)
