Trusted teacher: "I still remember the first time I heard the sounds of a harp, when I was 8, my grandparents took me to a concert in the little church in Gosselies. To pinch the strings, I was kidnapped by the magic sound that came from the heart of the woods. The longer the concert went on, the closer I got to the harp ... After harassing my parents for a year, I started To study this magnificent instrument, it immediately became a sacred object for me, and thanks to him, I could communicate my feelings, laugh, relax and find the desired balance. " My courses are based on the Irish teaching method so first of all to the ear, on the resources that the student has in himself and on the fact that one learns while having fun. I propose a harp lesson: - Medieval dedicated to teenagers and adults for false beginner and intermediate based on medieval music and rebirth, improvisation, arrangement of melodies, ... - Celtic for all ages from 14 to 70 years, beginner level, false beginner, intermediate and intermediate / advanced based on Celtic repertoire and Irish, Scottish and Breton techniques After a few lessons, the neo-harpists will play short and simple melodies until the end of the journey to play more complete melodies that provide accompaniment and use of both hands. Lessons are defined on the learning needs of individual students. Even if I use the Irish teaching method, I will provide the basis for reading the pentagram, for the integration of rhythm, the foundations of harmony so that the student can read a piece of music independently. I live in Italy, so I come back once a month in Belgium (sometimes more) for the courses in attendance (duration of the lesson in attendance: 90 minutes). Next dates for the courses in attendance: - a date at the end of February - once a month from May. For skype lessons (3x per month, lesson duration 60 minutes) see the typical week. Do not hesitate to write to me.

I have been writing songs now for 30 years, including being asked to write lyrics for local charities and for special occasions. Songwriting theory and musical theory and compositions can often take the fun out of lifting and playing music - whether its a guitar, microphone, drum kit! These 1 hour sessions give the customer an opportunity to explore musical styles, rhythms, while personalising a song for their own use. Every song created will be supplied in an electronic copy, with the lyrics displayed in a certificate explaining the background to the song/ lyrics/ tune etc. Option1 : Tutor and customer discuss the scope of the song - whwether the song is to be personal - about someone, somewhere, a particular event - whether the song is to be uplifting or melancholy, with distortion, or smooth? These personalised songs can be so well received; especially with a copy of a certificate explaining why it was written, when it was written and for whom. Option 2: The Random Song - pick some random words and create a masterpiece; see the story come to life as the song verses merge into a meaningful chorus.... or let the fun begin, and let the children ( small and grown up) have loads of ideas which randomly converge into YOUR song! Can be done in person as part of a 'party' or online over Teams etc. No two sessions are ever the same; and multiple members can dial in if you want them to share in the Songwriting process! Please feel free to ask questions, I have sample certificates available, and would love to hear from you! Every session comes with an e version of the recorded song, and an electronic copy of the certificate, showing the lyrics and details of the songwriter, date created/recorded.

Everyone has a voice and singing is fun, at any age No matter whether you are looking for professional voice coaching for your next gig, just want to get to know your voice first, want to research your voice functionally or simply want to improve your favorite songs in the shower - With flexibility, creativity and your natural voice as a starting point, together we will realize your very personal artistic path. For me it is important to maintain a balance between singing technique/vocal development and singing as a development in a personal process. Everything is possible, but nothing is mandatory. In my vocal warm-up at the beginning of the lesson, I incorporate elements from body and breath work (if desired also in depth with mindfulness and meditation) as well as functional exercises according to Estill Voice and a variety of voice training tools (pop and classical). You decide how to proceed and what we focus on: hearing, movement, body awareness and getting to know your voice, Rifs and Runs, extension of voice colors and tonal range, Vocal technique/ voice training, functionality of the voice, expression, and interpretation work, Voice in songwriting and voice interpretation: All tools for your artistic expression in repertoire and song work. You will receive individually adapted audios from me on the piano (song accompaniment and call and response audios) for daily practice, discovery and above all to have fun singing :) If you are still one of the little ones, we pack voice training/breath work and technique into creative movement games and exciting singing stories, which are supplemented with individually adapted practice singing games (call and response audios). We can include the first vocal music theory elements, rhythm and awareness of notes in the lessons on a playful level. And of course singing your favorite song should not be missing (for practicing you will receive an audio piano accompaniment that I have recorded) But most importantly: Having fun singing and making music

Medieval, folk and Celtic harp lessons (Floreffe)
Mélanie
As i am just about to start harp lessons, we had a first ''lesson' in which Mélanie advised me extensively about the types of harps that I should consider getting/renting,and explained her pedagogy and the type of music she specializes in, which is exactly what I would like to take up. She explained some aspects of the repertoire (such as the fact that for older music we often have only a melody line surviving, so the accompaniment involves improvisation). She is extremely friendly and helpful, organized and clearly at home with teaching online, which she had been doing in part before the lockdown. I look forward to having the first 'real' lesson once I have a harp to play on.

Piano Lessons with the Best Colombian Young Pianist! (Santiago de Cali)
Juan
Juan is as much experienced in playing piano than teaching it, what makes him the kind of teacher that help you learn fast and in a very pleasant way. Piano lesson with him aren't just about moving finger and repeating things over and over, it's also about understanding things through music theory and music history, which is very important to me. He has perfectly adapted the lesson according to my taste and level and also the way I like to learn things. If you're looking for a comprehensive, experiment and pleasant piano teacher, then I highly recommend you to book a lesson with Juan!
