What a JOY to play the violin! I play music since I was a child, and violin will always be my first love. Our relationship together is very beautiful and complex, and during the last 19 years I never put it away. First years of studying the violin were not piece of cake! For that reason I understand both the passion and the struggle of anyone who wants to learn and to become better at it. In my class, we will dive together in the secrets of violin playing and will find the right techniques and exercises that will make things easier and natural for you. Depending on the level and on the music that you wish to play, we will approach diverse repertoire. Children, teenagers and adults are welcomed to my class. All levels as well! My experience with teaching was built during my studying years, when performing as a professional musician and working as a private teacher for children and adults. Obtaining a violin performer degree and a teaching degree at National University of Music Bucharest, together with studying abroad, completed and improved my teaching experience as well.

Andreea enjoys teaching the violin. The lessons are clear and inspiring. She can help to solve technical issues by suggesting methods and exercises. The lessons allow to identify a right study plan while always giving freedom to encourage you exploring and extending your own violin playing. She can supervise the work on pieces that require high knowledge of the instrument and deep playing experience. The lessons I took from Andreea were of great benefit. I think it would be so for any motivated violin student.
After taking lessons from Andreea throughout the year, I own her a basket of gratitude for giving me opportunity to integrate myself with music. She is always patient yet precisely correct your techniques while having lessons, so there is no doubt that she gives amazing courses. A covid-19 reminder: it is possible to have physical lessons at specific location under government measure, while both of us waring face masks and disinfect properly.
My 14-year-old son has already taken 5 1-hour lessons with Andreea and thinks he is a great violin teacher. He has been playing the piano since he was 5 years old and also takes harpsichord and singing lessons, the violin is a new exciting challenge with a completely different sound. The lessons are in English, but even if my son could not speak English well, he would still be able to do it, every position and exercise is demonstrated and extensively checked and corrected manually. He has already made significant progress. Andreea is very friendly, and has inexhaustible energy. The lessons are intensive because there is so much to pay attention to, but Andreea notices when it is a bit too much, it is not easy at first to keep the violin in the right position. Andreea provides enough variety and keeps the motivation going with small pieces of music. Andreea seems to know clearly where she wants to go, but always adapts to what she sees. She indicates what is absolutely important or for which variations are possible, also to prevent pain from playing the violin. We look forward to the next lessons!
