About Me
I am an engineer who studied and made my career as a sound engineer and acoustician in the United States for almost twenty years.I have notably worked with artists such as Jill Scott, Patty Labelle (Lady Marmalade), Roberta Flack, Shanice Wilson, Sheila E, Lady Gaga, Patrice Rushen, Stevie Wonder, Wayman Tisdale, Eric Benet, Lionel Richie, Tony Bennett, R. For more than ten years I owned the studios in Los Angeles where I worked closely on many projects with Steve McKeever, Russ Regan (Barry White, The beach Boys, Elton John, Neil Diamond,…) and Jheryl Busby , a close friend who was chairman and shareholder of Motown and chairman of DreamWorks Records.
In 2010, I was director of the program for a Master in sound engineering in the physics department of Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand where I taught until July 2013.
In 2014, I designed the acoustics for a large private cinema project with “Hometronics” in Dallas. The project was awarded the "Golden Technical Design & Best Overall Home Theater" grand prize presented by "CEDIA" in Denvers that same year.
In 2016, I mixed the soundtrack of the film '' Cavalia '' (Odysseo) presented at the Cannes film festival of the same year.
Two albums and one track I worked on were Grammy nominated:
Jay-P for the album '' Atrevete '' ('lead vocal' recording / mixing / mastering) nominated in Mexico in 2008, Stevie Wonder for the song '' All About The Love Again '' (special effects / mix fine tuning / mastering) nominated in the United States in 2009 and Mala Rodriguez for the album '' Bruja '' (mastering) nominated and elected best album of the year 2013 in the rap category in Spain.
Today, I continue to design acoustics projects in China and the United States in parallel with my engineering activity.
