In the singing lessons we look for your unique voice and repertoire that suits your voice and personality. Usually we start the lesson with warming up and technical singing exercises. Then we work on repertoire (usually these are songs or arias that you have chosen yourself, provided they suit your voice).

Our teacher using, if necessary, an electro-acoustic guitar to better accompany your voice and guide some of its subtleties, the teaching philosophy is adapted to each level, according to the pace of work and motivation. I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

We will learn basic notions of reading the staff and develop the ear, while we get to know the piano, and we explore the possibilities of our own voice. I understand that although it's great to have a strong technique it's also about letting go and having confidence in your ability so you can relax in the moment. We will choose the repertoire according to the student's wishes - classical or popular music. Your body is your instrument when singing. We try to make that instrument sound as beautiful as possible by working on sound formation. This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you are less tired when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower tones. During the singing lessons we are also busy with articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also with the meaning and feeling of a certain piece. Of course you decide what kind of music you will sing. Whether you sing alone in the shower or you sit in a choir for example and you encounter certain difficulties in general or a certain piece? Hello, I’m Elena, I’m Italian and I’m an opera singer :) I’ve been training children and teens for 6 years, especially helping them with auditions and tests. I’ve been singing in theaters almost all my life since I started when I was just 8; nowadays I work as a professional mezzosoprano all around the world both in educational projects for kids and children and in big productions. I like teaching because I can share my experience with somebody that needs it and I always get to learn something from my pupils too: I swear teaching makes me a better singer.
