The subject might sometimes come off as too "theoretical" or "boring", but with the right instructor it can turn into the most interesting subject ever! I believe in teaching using dialogue as it helps give the student more autonomy over the material and dialogue helps them engage. I do not believe in rote memorisation as it leads to no good and just helps with word vomit in exams, which is not helpful to anyone. Education should be an enriching experience and not one which you dread. Therefore I also make it a point to use methods which caters to the needs of the student rather than how I would like to teach because at the end of the day I am there to make learning a fun experience for them rather than a convenient one for me.
