Marilena was born in Patras, Greece. She graduated from the Hellenic Conservatory of Athens, where she received the Piano Diploma with 1st Prize in 2013 and the Piano Diploma from the Schola Cantorum in Paris in 2014 (Prof. Agathe Leimoni).

She was also responsible for musical coaching in the operas '' La fille de la tempête '' (2013) and '' Satanerie '' (2014) by T. Sakellaridis.

In 2009, she began taking harpsichord lessons with Markellos Chryssikos. As a harpsichordist she performed with Armonia Atenea and Athens Camerata Junior.

She has been teaching for several years in Greece and Belgium. She was also one of the coaches of the musical theater workshop based on the “Snow Queen opera for children” at the Onassis Cultural Center.

She is currently studying with Alan Weiss at Luca Arts / Lemmensinstituut, Louvain.
