Private Classical Trumpet Lessons and Music theory

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercise too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the number from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the age 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hi! I am Elsa, I am 22 and I come from France. I am currently in my 4th year bachelor at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. I have been playing cello for 18 years and teaching children, teenagers and adults for 5 years. Over the years I played in various settings: chamber music, bands, solo and orchestras such as Njo and Jong Metropole. I am grateful for all the experiences I had with my students! My goal as a teacher is to help you realize your musical wishes: I can adapt to all levels, all genres and tastes, all ages and background. Welcome to my introduction site! My name is Marta and music has been a great love and passion for my entire life. Singing lessons are not only an opportunity to learn singing and something new about music but also an opportunity to express emotions, forget about everyday worries, and have fun! Through music theory lessons you can learn about the structure of music and also develop some very useful music skills such as reading music (sight-singing or sight-reading). All students who have a specific goal in mind, but also all who do not have any specific goal in mind and want to sing or learn theory just for fun, are very welcome! Different options for lessons which I am offering are described below and all of them can be modified and adjusted according to the wishes and needs of the student: SINGING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) Singing lessons for children is basically an integrated method that combines singing with solfeggio, developing basic music theory skills. It consists of playing musical games and singing children's songs and through those developing intonation, musical hearing, musical memory, sense for pulse and rhythm, all with the attention to healthy singing. SINGING LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS AND ADULTS (individual or group lessons - maximum 10 students*) During singing lessons we will be searching for a deeper meaning of the story and different ways of interpretation, with attention to healthy singing technique, pronunciation and style. The lessons consist of breathing exercises, vocal warm up exercises with a specific technical goal and work on the desired repertoire - meaning of the words and story, vocal technique, pronunciation, interpretation and style. My specialization is in classical singing but I don’t mind working on other genres in my classes. SIGHT SINGING LESSONS (individual or group lessons) Intense course where you will be learning how to read music at sight. The lessons consist of sight singing only, beginning from the easiest level and gradually learning how to read more and more difficult music. You will develop skills needed for sight singing as well as a certain way of thinking appropriate for sight singing. (There is no technique of singing or interpretation involved in these lessons.) SOLFEGGIO LESSONS (individual or group lessons, for children from 8 years old, teenagers and adults) In these lessons you will learn how to bring the written music to life (sight singing), how to discover and put on paper the music you hear (musical dictation) and how to build scales, intervals, and chords. This knowledge is needed and examined on every conservatoire and music academy. For some conservatoires and academies this is an obligatory pre-requirement and elimination factor on entrance exams. It is inevitable part of every professional music education. MUSIC THEORY LESSONS (individual lessons) Music theory lessons can include, if desired: solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, music form, analysis, and/or other music theory related subjects. For each subject we can make a special program, depending on the wishes and needs of the student. COMBINED SOLFEGGIO AND SINGING LESSONS Combined solfeggio and singing lessons are also possible for adults, as separate subjects or integrated with singing lessons. In both cases the duration of each lesson is 90 minutes and the program is discussed and created based on the wishes and needs of the student. (A combination of individual singing lesson and a group solfeggio lesson is also possible.*) AUDITION TRAINING AND PREPARATION FOR EXAMS (individual lessons) Preparation for auditions concerning singing and/or music theory includes preparation for entrance exams, regular exams on conservatories or preparation for ABRSM exams. *Please, contact me for more information about group lessons. Bassoon lessons: In this lessons you will be able to learn how to play the bassoon, to blow and tune, to play in groups, understand the harmonic and melodic system of the interpretation of the different music styles. You will be able to learn how to make your own reeds and how to repair them. Duration of the lesson is generally 60 minutes, but it can be always the student`s choice. The dynamics of the classes is focused on the interpretation and musical understanding, as well as the elaboration and maintenance of reeds, all looking for a positive, dynamic and fun environment. Music Theory lessons: Here you will be able to learn how to understand the composers and their music; historical and theorical reasons of why music is written in different ways during the evolution of music history. You will be also able to learn how to read and sing music. Composition skills are also available. The duration of the lesson is under choice. Both bassoon an music theory lessons can be combined.

Hello! My name is Rocio and I'm a Spanish Artist giving private art lessons to kids and teenagers in The Netherlands. As a recent graduate in Fine Arts and Design, I have a solid basis of materials, composition, shape and color, but I know those aren't essential skills when approaching art for the first time, the most important is the attitude towards it. As kids are always eager to try new materials, my lessons focus in experimenting through painting while having fun, painting is a really intuitive skill that everyone can enjoy. Are you looking for cello lessons? I have been giving cello lessons to all ages and levels for 10 years now. The cello is an extremely versatile instrument and therefore never gets boring, even after years of study there is still so much to discover! I also teach Baroque music for more advanced students. In these lessons I will go into the regional technique, the basso continuo playing, ornamentation, etc. This can be done on a modern cello as well as on a baroque cello. I also regularly coach ensembles (early and classical music). I then pay a lot of attention to the function of each voice and the creation of an ensemble sound.

"Music for Babies" is a course for children from 0 to 4 years and also for pregnant women. Listening to music has a positive effect on the language and reading development of the child. We will sing songs, listen to music and play with instruments. Each group consists of 5 children with a parent. Come and make music in a warm homely atmosphere! The courses start on different days and times. It is possible in Dutch or English.
