During my oboe lessons, enjoying music is central. The double reed plays an important role in both the sound and the ease of playing the oboe. I make sure there is always a reed that plays nicely. In addition, I will pay a lot of attention to the way of blowing. This is the basis that ensures that the students can have fun and make music right from the start. . Making music together is the best thing there is, so I like to play along with the students in a duet. I guide advanced students in developing their (musical) creativity and, if they wish, I offer reed lessons. In these lessons I give tips for updating reeds and explain all the steps of the reed making process.

I help my students to learn to play the ukulele or to improve their level with personalised approach where I create individual lesson plans for each student for their needs and pace. I create exercises from the songs you like/wish to play and cover the technical aspect in a fun way. My schedule here is mostly symbolic, please contact me for the scheduling the lessons, I can be way more flexible that way.

I have been singing all my life and I have many different experiences with receiving and giving singing lessons. If you want to become better in singing technique, performing and / or songwriting, I can help you with that. I give private lessons to give you as a vocalist more knowledge about the profession, so that you feel comfortable singing and can get more out of your own voice. We choose some songs to practice with or can work on our own songs. During the singing I analyze what happens and give this back to you so that we can work on the skills that you would like to improve!

My name is Shak. I am 21 years old and currently studying at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. I've been playing different instruments for as long as I can remember and I've mainly started to focus on bass guitar. I also play in several bands and I have a lot of experience with the instrument on stage or in the studio. I also know a lot about everything that has to do with theory, so I make a lesson plan that is completely tailored to what you want to do! Lessons can take place at my home or at school. The drumset is one of the most important and powerful instruments in a music ensemble. It does not only provide the rhythm and groove foundation for all the other instruments - it also defines the sound of the band, the character of the songs, the volume... just like an orchestra conductor. In these lessons (which are of course personalized and open depending on the interests of the student) we will work beyond the physical/mechanical aspect of the drums (technique, coordination, etc) into the musical aspect, so we will spend some time listening and analyzing music together, working on ear training and music theory from a practical point of view.

My name is Mathilde, I am a French violinist, pianist, harpsichordist, producer and composer. I have graduated from the world’s great institutions such as the Royal College of Music London, Manhattan School of Music New-York, Brussels Royal Conservatory, and Paris-Sorbonne University (in musicology). I have been performing concerts around the world in the most prestigious concert halls including the Châtelet Theatre and Seine Musicale (Paris), the National Opera House (Oman) and La Scala (Milan), as well as many other venues in Europe, US, China, Middle-East. During this period of time, I had been playing in the Orchestra Academy of La Scala in Milan for 2 years, and I am currently playing at the Metropole Orkest in Amsterdam. With the experiences I gained over the years - including the teaching experience in the Conservatory of Cambrai (France) - I became an expert in teaching violin and keyboards as well as music theory, including writing and reading scores. I have been teaching to the different age groups and different levels of technical backgrounds (beginner or advanced). I can easily adapt myself to the level of each student to create a synchronicity and help them pursue their goals and wishes. I am there to help them as a teacher and a music coach for their musical career. Hello! I'm Nina, a drummer from Amsterdam. I am currently studying pop/rock drums at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht. I play in 2 bands. I also play in many different session projects (from pop to rock). I work a lot with hybrid drums (triggers and SPD) and also teach them with Ableton. The studio is located in the Q-Factory in Amsterdam with two professional drum kits and sound system. In addition, I can occasionally offer a lesson in Utrecht! If all this is too far or for some other reason not reachable, lessons at home and / or online are also possible! We can work on, among other things: - Hand technique (how do I hold my sticks? Or which stick technique do I use for different music styles?) Creativity (how can I ultimately make cool parts on the drums myself? I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.
