PROFESSIONAL DUTCH + SCHOOL SUPPORT: INDIVIDUAL ONE-HOUR CLASSES

Hello, 20 years old, I am currently in the 3rd year of Bachelor in Germanic Languages and Literatures, English and Dutch option at the University of Namur. I give English and Dutch lessons to children / teenagers with difficulties in these two languages, or one of them. Having a B2 + / C1 level in both languages, it will be very easy to adapt to both a beginner level and a more advanced level depending on age and demand. I do not always have a car and therefore prefer to teach my home. If this is really not possible for you, I agree to move but with additional fees. Thank you for your understanding.

I am AESI graduate in Germanic languages since 2003. I started working in Brussels and Namur in primary education. I am currently working in Tubize, in high school. I propose tutoring classes in order to better approach the subject, to find strategies at the level of grammar and skills.

Each class is tailored to the individual's requirements and/or needs. Want to improve career opportunities; learn or improve business Dutch, which will be the focus of each class. For those already are familiar with Dutch; expanding existing knowledge together with a deeper cultural understanding and insight. All students will be provided lesson schedules in advance for their review (time permitting). As a former primary school teacher and experienced Dutch teacher for adults and children, I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals. Together we will make a plan that fits your personal needs, whether they include exam preparation (Inburgering/Staatsexamen), being able to confidently hold (informal or formal) conversations with friends and coworkers, understanding grammar rules, being able to watch Dutch TV or anything else: I will help you get there! I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson.
