If your child is having difficulties in school, I would love to be able to help them overcome them. I had the opportunity to work in several non-profit organizations (Schola ULB, Youth Club, CIFA, ABEF) where I helped young adolescents to understand their subject in French, English and Dutch. I also helped them prepare for their exams, including the CEB and CE1D. We will work together on their lessons, we will review the vocabulary and grammar they need to know and we will work on their difficulties in order to overcome them. In view of the current situation, I teach only online.

I am AESI graduate in Germanic languages since 2003. I started working in Brussels and Namur in primary education. I am currently working in Tubize, in high school. I propose tutoring classes in order to better approach the subject, to find strategies at the level of grammar and skills.

As a teacher of Dutch 🇳🇱 and German 🇩🇪 I have experience teaching children from 4 years old to 18 years old. I can also teach other language subjects such as English 🇺🇲 or German. Hello, 20 years old, I am currently in the 3rd year of Bachelor in Germanic Languages and Literatures, English and Dutch option at the University of Namur. I give English and Dutch lessons to children / teenagers with difficulties in these two languages, or one of them. Having a B2 + / C1 level in both languages, it will be very easy to adapt to both a beginner level and a more advanced level depending on age and demand. I do not always have a car and therefore prefer to teach my home. If this is really not possible for you, I agree to move but with additional fees. Thank you for your understanding.

Coming to Belgium can be very shocking after hearing the type of language they speak here. You get confronted by the difference in culture and it can be difficult to move around without speaking the language. Being an immigrant myself, I wish I had the opportunity to be able to learn the basics from a trustworthy teacher. For that I want to become a supporting figure to help you make your first steps into this new country. In this class the goal is to learn the basics in Dutch as well as grammatica. The most important goal is for you to be able to speak, read and understand what people say.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Between the two lessons you can always ask me a question about the subject what we’ve discussed. If you have a subject what you’d like to learn about the Dutch language, let me know. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

I am a very experienced teacher in Dutch as a second language. I love working with people from other countries because it widens my view and apart from teaching you a new language, I will learn from you about new cultures. For me, learning a new language is first of all learning to get around in daily life. So, a beginners course will always start with this basic information: introducing yourself; making appointments with the dentist, hairdresser, and so on; shopping; going to a restaurant; etc. On an intermediate level, we will work on your speaking skills: having a conversation with your colleagues about your weekend, reading a newspaper article and talk about it; talking about your hobbies, etc. With advanced students we can work on whatever field they need; for example work or other things that are important for you.

We will use practice exams to get you more comfortable with the questions and I'll give you tips. We will also look into the grammar points that are necessary for the exam.
