A really good flute teacher who sets interesting challenges to motivate practising the flute every day and independently. She also has plenty of up-to-date ideas combining different material sources (including digitals! top notch teacher with IT!) according to my needs and interests. She teaches me a lot of very useful tips for my level and I can hear a clear difference from a lesson to another. Yet, no miracle either: you must practice! But with the right instructions, she can help you pass obstacles you may have thought they were impossible to overcome. And playing the flute becomes a mere pleasure and joyful challenge! Besides, she never allows you to rest in your comfortable zone! There are always plenty of interesting and useful things to learn with great pleasure rather than with pain and stress! We didn't complete many lectures yet, but Apprentus frequently asks me to review Diana; so here is my review. In my opinion, she is highly professional. She keeps a good pace with my learning speed; she sets the workload well that will keep me improving but not overloaded. Moreover, the content of her lectures are well balanced; we do not only practice on violin, but also cover theoretical stuff with pen and paper. She is also open to receive questions even out of course hours. I have never contacted her like this yet, but it is comforting to know that I can consult with her on something.

I have already learned so much useful exercices in only two lessons with Elena that I can barely keep up my own workout on the side between courses! It is dense lessons where you learn many things in a methodic way, and yet she still manages to get me to relax in no more than 5 minutes, even after a tough day of work. She has a cheerful and gentle personnality, I'm making progress, and it's strictly good times!
