Ich biete einen Musikunterricht für jedes Alter und jede Ausbildungsstufe in folgende Fächer: Musiktheorie (inkl. Solfeggio) Komposition (Für eine Person, die schon gewisse Kenntnisse der Musiktheorie hat) Klavier (Anfänger - mittlere Stufe) Geige (Anfänger - Fortgeschritten) Sie können gerne mehrere Fächer aus der oberen Liste auswählen. Ich kann auch für Kindern oder Anfängern einen vergnüglichen Kompositionsunterricht anbieten. Aber wenn man ein fortgeschrittenes oder professionelles Niveau will, wäre es besser, Musiktheorie- und Kompositionsunterricht zu kombinieren. Dazu könnte man sagen, dass Komponist*innen mindestens einen Instrument beherrschen sollten. In diesem Fall könnte ich die Instrumente (Klavier und Geige) dazu unterrichten.

This class is all about the fun and love in music. I am very student oriented so whatever your goal is or what specific pieces you want to learn, we will work on that. A relaxing atmosphere is really important to me. A student should never fear to play wrong or feel bad because he/she didn't practice. We learn from mistakes and of course practicing would be really great, but in the end it is your goal to learn to play the piano, I'm just there to help you. I am very patient and understanding and I just want to encourage everyone who is interested in playing the piano to just give it a try, no matter what age!

I offer saxophone / clarinet / recorder lessons as well as piano lessons for all age groups, levels and styles (classical, jazz, improvisation, etc.) in Salzburg City, Salzburg Land and Freilassing. I am a trained clarinetist, saxophonist and pianist as well as a music teacher. After studying at the Mozarteum University and Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, I founded my own chamber music and jazz project. Both projects are participants of various famous music festivals. I also perform as a clarinetist with various orchestras, play concerts as a solo musician, conduct workshops, etc. Languages of instruction: German, English and Russian. Welcome! My name is Kym and I am the founder of Salzburg's first music school through the English language, Music through English Salzburg. I am an Irish pianist and piano teacher based in Salzburg, Austria. I hold a first class honours Master's degree in Piano Performance from MTU Cork School of Music, Ireland and two honours Bachelor's degrees in both Music and Education (BMus, BEd). I love both playing and teaching the piano and it has long been my dream to move open my own music school where I can do both! I teach in-person and online piano lessons for both beginner students and more advanced students. Hello! I am classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I teach Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the students' musical taste and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. I can teach classical music, pop, rock, or any other style. My approach consists of: giving you the necessary theoretical knowledge for what you wish to play; involving you actively in the choice of the pieces/songs you will play; setting up a long-term plan for your repertoire, so that your development is made step by step in a challenging - but achievable - way (and this way, you will feel more motivated!); giving you enjoyable and creative practicing strategies; creating a rich imagery revolving around the piece - by making up a story, relating the music to emotions, etc.; and also positive feedback! Thus, my lessons will allow you to: - Learn how to read scores. -Develop your musical understanding (from notes, rhythm, harmony, to musical taste, emotional comprehension of the music, or dive into aesthetic principles concerning the period and style of the piece,...). -Improve, step by step, until you are able to play that piece/song that you love. -Prepare yourself for exams. -Etc.
