Hi! My name is Diego, I am a guitarist and composer currently living in Berlin. I am offering guitar and music lessons to everyone interested in learning music, from beginners to advanced players who want to improve their skills. I find teaching very inspiring and challenging. My goal is to help you find your way in music so that you can improve and enjoy the process. I have been a teacher in different schools and privately in the last years in Spain and Berlin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of the Basque Country, Musikene (Spain). Each person is different, so I adapt to the needs and interests of each one. We always work on things that are important to you. Along with this, there are certain topics that I consider necessary for further development: guitar technique, rhythm, harmony, ear training, improvisation, composition, different languages (jazz, blues, rock, folk), and a repertoire suitable for the student. I can give extra material to the students with videos or Pdf to work at home. There's also the option of doing the lessons in Baumschulenstr (Treptow). I can go to your location for an extra fee. I am Dimitrios, I am a greek professional guitarist. I graduated with a masters degree in Jazz guitar from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and also studied in the UK conservatory of Leeds. As a musician my primary focus is jazz music but I also often play other styles like soul, Rnb and more. Jazz music is an art that requires practice and dedication. To be a good jazz trombonist, you must be well-versed in the different styles of jazz, jazz theory, and of course, listening. I have designed this class to cover all of these bases and more for the trombonists out there seeking guidance. This course will cover jazz theory topics such as writing a cohesive chord progression, chord spelling, scale use, and writing melodies. It will also cover sight reading, solo transcription, and learning standards in the different eras of jazz, from Traditional Jazz to Hard Bop to Fusion.

Of het nu gaat om songwriting, opname technieken of beats maken, we kunnen het allemaal samen doen. Alle genres zijn welkom. Tijdens de lessen kunnen we leren werken met verschillende programma’s, zoals Logic, Pro Tools of Ableton. De lessen zijn voor leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveau’s. My approach to teaching strongly takes the student's CREATIVITY into account, but without forgetting that a good knowledge of MUSIC THEORY and PIANO TECHNIQUE are essential. Constant practice is recommended for better results, although it is not strictly required.
