Teacher for Brass instruments and the Recorder (Trumpet, Bariton, Euphonium, Recorder)

I offer professional Brass instruments (Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba) lessons for children from the age of four, for teenagers and adults. Whether beginner or advanced, that doesn't matter to me. Every motivated student of trumpets is welcome with me. I see it as my job to promote the particular character of each student. Playing the trumpet is an art that is difficult to explain. To become a good Brass player, you need more than “just” to master your instrument. Practice is a basic requirement. Young Brass students, children in particular need the support and support of their parents in the learning process, but the joy in the practice lessons should not be left behind. The focus of my lessons is on conveying musical understanding, sound technology and music literature from classical to klezmer to jazz. Elements such as transpose, orchestral replacement and sight reading are also taken into account in the lessons. I accompany the students as they prepare for competitions and auditions. I am happy to support you in improving your stage presence. I offer one-on-one and two-on-one classes. I teach the pocket trumpet for children. Furthermore, cornet, B and C trumpet (American and German) as well the Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, Tuba and Trombone.

About Me

Being a teacher means taking responsibility. You accompany each individual student individually in a section of his or her career. It fascinates me to pursue a common goal with the students and to find a way that promotes their enthusiasm for making music. As a trumpet teacher I set "pedagogical impulses", they support the musical development of the student and his personality. Making music strengthens social skills, students learn to take responsibility and use their creativity. I myself learned to play the trumpet from the age of four. The recorder was added later as a second instrument. I offer professional Brass instruments (Trumpet,Bariton, Tenorhorn, Euphonium, and the Recorder) lessons for children from the age of 6, for teenagers and adults. The practice is a basic requirement. Young Brass students, children, in particular, need the support and support of their parents in the learning process, but the joy in the practice lessons should not be left behind

Education

IDF college high certification authorized tutor for youth and wind ensembles conductor.

Conservatorium Van Amsterdam
University Certificate specialist in Brass.

Experience / Qualifications

When I was eleven years old, I played in a youth orchestra for the first time. Until 2000 I gave concerts in Europe and the USA with various orchestras, including the “Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra”, and I won several grants. After graduating from high school, I did the military service in the military orchestra, compulsory in Israel, from 1997 to 2000. At Israel Defense Force College, I acquired the instructor qualification for youth orchestras. From 2002 to 2004 I worked in Israel as a freelance trumpeter and studio musician for television, before I began studying classical trumpet in 2005 at the “Conservatorium van Amsterdam” with Professor Theo Wolters. At the same time, I participated in the "Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra".

I successfully completed my studies in 2007 with a diploma. In the same year, I moved to Munich and became a permanent member of the Jakobsplatz orchestra and for some projects, I played in the Junge Münchner Philharmonie. I have been head of the United Klezmer Ensemble since 2009. We are a group of professional musicians and our concern is to revive the tradition of Klezmer. As a music teacher, I quickly gained a foothold in Munich. In 2008 I took over the musical direction of a Klezmer children's band and worked as a music teacher in a youth culture center.

Between 2011 and 2013 I worked as a trumpet and recorder teacher in various music schools in Munich. I have been living and working in the Rhein-Main area since 2013. Since 2019 I live in Denmark and I am a Brass teacher I'm Flensburg and Schleswig music schools. I am the musical director of Pa's Brass band, Schafflund, Germany, and I am the music conductor of the Schleswig youth orchestra. As well I am a member of several Brass bands in Denmark.

Thank you very much, it has helped me a lot. Very good technical exercises from a professional. Was a lot of fun. Now I've reached a plateau where I have a lot to practice. If I can take the next step up, I'll be happy to come back. Look forward

The trumpet, learn to play it by making music from the first class.
The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

Lyle
Music Lessons for Trumpet/Piano/Music Production and Jazz harmony
My name is Lyle, and I teach Trumpet, Piano, and also more general composition and music production. I specialise in contemporary styles (anything from the last 100 years), and have found many of my students typically are: - Young children, who's parents are looking for a teacher who is more interested in flexibility and helping the child become inspired and self-motivated, rather than crushed by overly academic and strict teaching. - Adults who feel like their childhood instrumental learning has left them with large gaps in their knowledge and ability, particularly when it comes to improvisation and playing music without sheet music. - Learners who are interested in developing their musicianship, and curious about, but also a bit scared by JAZZ. - Learners who are interested in recording music, and want advice on both music and professional goals and the industry. I am happy to teach grades, but have a strong teaching philosophy that focuses around more specifically tailored learning paths that focus on giving the student the tools needed to become self-sufficient playing and creating music, whether it be to relax at home, play with others, or write songs. If this sounds good, please don't hesistate to get in touch and we can discuss further! About me: I am currently completing my Level 4 Music Educator certificate from Trinity College, and have been fully teaching professionally for just over two years, since finishing my studies. As a trumpeter, I have played on European tours with various bands, played on great stages such as The Royal Festival Hall, Bath Forum, and at Glastonbury Festival. I also have my own band, LYLE!, in which I sing, play keyboards, play trumpet, and write and produce all of the music, as well as playing and performing with many different bands across the UK.

Additionally, I have experience in orchestra playing such as Radio Filharmonisch Orkest, NJO (Nationaal Jeugdorkest), and Limburg Jeugd Orkest. I am passionate about classical music, however, I am open to working with any music style, like Jazz, Pop, or Baroque. I will help you understand concepts such as keys and meter signatures. I am also willing to help you prepare for possible entrance exams to music schools or Conservatoriums. Most of all, however, I want to show you how fun playing an instrument can be! Hope to see you soon!
